So where are we at with the selection?

On the selection day we need to pay $2k option fees and how abt downpayment? As we r using grant to pay for the downpayment and we only submit the grant application form during the selection.

1) Downpayment would usually be at the signing of lease agreement appt.
2) Yes, can only apply for grant after u've booked a unit. After the grant amount is processed then signing of lease agreement appt would be scheduled.

During signing of lease agreement, you also need to make payment for stamp duties etc etc other than downpayment. Stamp duties can only be paid using earned CPF O/A monies and not from the grant. Which means if there's leftover from the grant amt after deducting the downpayment, the leftover cannot be use to make payment for stamp duties.

For sales of balance i guess it depends on whether is it a ready key unit or still maybe 1 year or so before it's completed..

If it's the 1 year or so to go before completion then signing of lease agreement would come first and would not be the same day as key collection.

Stamp duties depends on the unit selling price. How much is the unit u're looking at?

But surely is book unit, apply grant then wait..Grant approve then next appt for all necessary payments and issue you the keys..Probably can call HDB to confirm..

It actually depends on their procedure but i srsly doubt so u can get it during selection appt..They would have to prepare the documents etc etc so probably return back but a shorter gap..

Do SPR need to pay 10,000 more on top of the flat price? If it is, downpayment and other fees are to be calculated with 10,000 inclusive?

SC+SPR Applicants would need to pay $10k on top of flat selling price.
