I got this message from My HDBPage "The selection exercise has been tentatively scheduled to start from Jun 2016, subject to change". Just worried if they bring the selection date forward..

My selection was october but end up postpone to mid nov.

Where you apply and what number? June... likely woodlands or yishun?

i think the 1 to 2 weeks of may is ok but 3 to 4 week might be risky.
check the april status and when heading nearer to vacation call hdb and check with them will the date be forward or not?

Good to know that they postpone instead of carrying forward. mine is Sengkang, queue number within the first 5. that's why abit worried.

If you worry, ask your family to book on your behalf. There is an authorisation form for such cases.

Prepare first, if need then they can help you excercise option to purchase.

Wow didn't know it can be this late. We applied SBF cos we were told by friends who got it that they all selected the flats ASAP & got keys immediately after that. Totalky misleading I suppose, now can only try resale.

Duckie one was from May 2015 sobf if my memory serves me right..

sobf even with ready keys unit smelly smelly also have to wait for like 6-8 months after results inorder to get keys..

Yes, mine was May 15 SBF.

Waited 3mth for selection and another 3mths to sign lease

Stupid me. If I only know how to Google earlier and ask in forums then I would have buy resale last Nov already omg. Very little appealing ads now and agents hardly reply at all.

Now resale market is hard reh for agents cos buyer/seller too savvy riao, they do the paperwork on their own..Cut off middleman..

bro,
i cannot say the chance is not high or not but i felt you should apply other in case this one you cannot get, at least you got one chance in other ballots.
cos the supply is low.

if you do not apply either the feb or may then your waiting time will be wasted lor. then might need to wait for the next release and the result will need a lot of time. hence it drag like end of year if you do not ballot either the feb one or may one..

Only one replied me lor, saying "unit option if buyer no exercise will let you know." I think means got other buyer pending purchase? The rest all kept quiet no reply lol maybe sold

You can hold on to 2 ballot results but one of them would automatically be cancelled once u have booked a unit from either 1..

Thanks ya pal, I think thru it whole night and will be trying for coming May sbf if any. I will just hold on to this ballot ticket first and see what happen if anything will happen.

May sobf results should be out in Aug..

But then u would have gone for ur appt?
