I kena 3 times le. last one I play with them. I ask are you Andy? then he say yes la. then immediately I shouted, knn Andy I looking for u so long finally call me, owe me money when want to return?!, he cup the phone after.

Hubby just received that call not long ago. Sounded like local....I told him to change his paynow or paylah name to nickname to avoid such call in future.

I sang this song to the caller when I received such calls few months back

There are already cases of scammers using AI to replicate your voice using 3 seconds of recording, and call your family and friends to scam them already.

Those who want to play with them and let them record, good luck.

As I've said before, the callers are not real people but are AI. They are able to carry a conversation along the lines of some sort of a template. A ridiculous response that is not within their expectations they won't know how to respond and so will likely hang up.

And yes they sound like real people because this is generative AI we are talking about, and the accents and tones are based on recordings of actual voices.

No need to be merciful with them. They have probably conned many people.

My bro in law kanna as "a friend " called him to borrow money. The caller really sounded like friend. After hanging up call, my bro in law called to verify with friend.

First if you talk long with them, they can record your voice and hack thru your phone numbers, and call up all your contacts.

If you play with them and make them angry, they can keep calling you using their others 9999 more numbers to call you.

Just hung up the phone. They are a syndicate. Maybe calling from Cambodia.
