Based on my latest statement, payment to HDB for the resale seminar is not considered online spending. I did not get the full $60 rebate with the missing portion fitting the HDB transaction.

Anybody knows if payments during the resale process such as valuation reports and submission fees would be considered as online spending? Thanks.

I spend $900-$1k online on average...My uber spending a month around $300-400...So I don't think it should even be an issue...

How to quickly tell the total spending from this card for this billing cycle, against the 600 SGD requirement, from the Internet Banking site? Any way to tell the billing cycle dates, from the IB?

Based on your bill date?

Anyway there's no such thing as viewing current bill or unbilled transaction like you can in ocbc ibank. So it's very difficult to view.

Seems like I got hit by an online transaction which SCB did not regard it as online.
I booked a hotel via https://www.accorplus.com/en/malaysia-singapore & did not get the 7% rebate. Called the CSO & was explained that the merchant was registered under some hotel MCC code & thus not regarded as an online transaction. I was not convinced & continue to dispute that it is unfair practice as we consumer will not know. This is like a "trap" to consumers to use a card that is led to believe that it is an online transaction & qualifies for the full rebate.
If SCB wants to be more transparent in this terms, they should just list down the MCC that qualifies as online. Do not lead the consumers to believe into what they thought naturally as an online transaction, but it may not be. We could have use other cards with better rebate then to make this payment which does not fall into the online qualification via MCC codes trap.
Anyway CSO stated she will raise this up with higher level & will get back to my queries.

Btw, I had also did transactions on the Accor online website using DBS live card & when i checked, they did pay the 5% rebate as an online transaction. I will use this info to dispute with SCB when they call back.
Thus lesson learnt & for the rest to be cautious & check the rebate amount, to see whether SCB is pulling a fast one on us. I know there were others in this forum in the past facing this issue & disputing about online transaction rebates....better to check to ensure you be getting what u ought to be gotten.
