UOB was very flexible. In fact they asked me which date I wanted. Dunno about now cos I cancelled all their cards already.

any roadshow or promotion for signing up this card...ever since OCBC list Amazon as a Service Provider and not eligible for their 6% rebate, i thought of jumping to this card for all future Amazon purchase...

There's a minimum spend and cap on the rebate.

OCBC Frank also got capped and minimum...i hit like $1k a month from Amazon...so hitting the minimum is never an issue...i have been getting more than $60 for donkey number of months...now my current spending only get $5 if i use OCBC or i get $50 from Singpost SCB...i will rather lose $10 than lose $55 rebate a month...

From 1st July you will be able to get $60 cash back like Frank. Hopefully they wont slap on exclusions by then).

Why don't you use boc shop card? After first 60 bucks for online you still get 1% rebate. Better than frank.

does anyone advice on this cross border charges of scb and the type of overseas online transactions to avoid on scb singpost card? or is it that all overseas online transactions in foreign currency will definitely incur the charges?

does it mean what i am paying will be

product price * visa rate * 1.035 * 1.008 * 0.93?
- the latter three figures respectively for 3.5% forex, 0.8% cbc and 7% cash rebate.

ok. got the idea liao. went on to read and know why i heard that, cos a lot of ebay seller and some merchants add on additional 4% paypal charges onto buyers.

now i am ready and anxiously anticipating for my card. hoot that 700 in last few days of march, and ask them to shift my bill cycle to calender month, then can start another 7% for next month.
