anyway i have some questions.

i just received my card yesterday (22 jan) and signed up for the angbao promo. too late to the party.

i spent upwards 200 on a single transaction. still eligible or not ah?

Nope unfortunately (if by "yesterday" you meant 22 Feb instead of 22 Jan). 22 Feb no more registrations according to the pdf file t&c. Need 2 days for registration (e.g. reg on Mon, eligible on Wed onwards).

The wording on the TnC seems ambiguous....
"The maximum 15% Dining CashBack awarded for each Qualifying Period is capped at $88 for each Eligible Cardholder."

Anybody tried using the card for purchase over Taobao and received the 7% online cash back?

The purchased was captured in my Jan'16 statement, however, in my Feb'16 statement, there wasn't any cash rebate for the taobao transaction @ Jan'16.

Possibly just a typical case of Visa unable to recognise the merchant as an online entity, I had this issue with Groupon several times. You can just give stand chart a call & explain to the CSO nicely; he/she will raise an order to have the missing rebate credited back to you in a few working days.

in fact, for small amt, cso will even just credit it to close the issue immediately.
i guess some are captured wrongly, which i wonder why.
