hi bro @mohamedsultan , did you manage to get an invite to the AC this time round? And based on ur past experience, is there only one AC day for all the applicants, or multiple days?

Hi bros, just came across this thread while googling about Scoot's Cadet Pilot Program. Very happy to have come across as there seems to be no other place with any information.

I have been invited for the AC on 31st March 8.45am. Would like to be added into the whatsapp group.

Hello future pilots.

I'm currently flying with Sxxxx as FO on the A320 rated pilot. Been here for around 6 years now.

The assessment centre during my time was basically group sharing session, and a very casual chat with interviewers during tea session. Nothing much just casual talk. Nothing much to prepare honestly just be yourself.

But from what I heard, the quota for recruitment is very slim unsure of actual numbers as right now there is over excessive of pilots here.

Usually 1 striped pilot rarely get to fly, it's mostly reserve schedule sitting at the airport for 8 to 10 hours a day or if you're lucky you're the 3rd person in the cockpit for long haul flights to Athens or London now for almost a year basically taking basic pay and no allowance.

Once you get your 2nd striped, you get to fly on the right seat.

Any questions please feel free to ask here.
I will answer asap to assist you guys.

Thank you for sharing.

I'm curious to know more about how you financed the training - what form of loan you took and how long you took to pay it back .

Congrats to all who have received the AC invites, and Thanks to those who share their past experiences, appreciate it :)

May I know if there is anyone who has applied/completed the online assessment in late Feb or later, and has either gotten the invite or rejection from Scoot?

I did the aptitude test early Feb but haven't heard from them. I think I wouldn't get the AC invite since there is only 1 date for the assessment. Waiting for their rejection letter but I think they might not send it so soon.

Don't feel too bad. Take this time to learn more and also get more money to hopefully ease the financial load if you get the chance next time. That's what I'll be doing

Thanks @Jaynus :) Yeah I was wondering what I can do to beef up my CV actually. Hopefully those who didn't get the invitation this time round will the next time.

Hi there,

I toke loan from Maybank. I toke a loan of 170k but remember it's excluding interest rate pay within 15 years.
In total I paid around 200k back to the bank within 2 years with just bread and milk.

If you spend on branded than it will take up to 5 to 8 years. I do have colleagues unfortunately fall into this.

Hi @PeterDavid1234 , if it's not too intrusive, do you mind sharing what the T&Cs and progression are like for Scoot pilots? In terms of compensation and progression from JFO to Captain

I applied end feb, completed the aptitude test in early march but have yet to hear from them as well. I doubt we'll get an invite to the AC as well considering it's been so many days. Just curious what everyone's background is? Age, qualifications etc.

I'm open to the idea of having a Whatsapp group for those of us who didn't get in this time and are planning to apply the next time it opens haha maybe we can share tips and info!

Hi @rosgene2012, that's actually a good idea. Does anyone else want to be added to this group of whatsapp chat?

You might be in the 2nd batch.
Usually 1st batch will get assessment centre and interview first.
From there the company will know how many got contracted.

The rejection email should come only when they have hired the required pilots
