btw was reading many pages back.... i dont really know which microsd has best value/speed....

was thinking to get samsung evo 32gb.... is that a good choice? if not can suggest me a brand? also buy from qoo10 or lazada is it ok?

Thanks. Anyway, I have already decided on the replacement. Another Sandisk 128 GB! The third-generation 128 GB will be available later this month with about double the read speed at advertised 80 MB/s. I guess write speed will remain low at about 20 MB/s.

Amazon is selling this at 59.95 and since Amazon has just refunded me 119.95 for my old card, it looks like I am getting two for one.

No. It depends on the price u paid what... you paid 119.95

The Sandisk 128 GB (first version, 30 MB/s) I bought from Amazon is now no longer being sold by Amazon. The only sellers now are third party. Maybe a picture will make it clearer.

To be clear, this was a one-time experience and I do not expect to be so lucky next time. It wasn't something I would ask for either but since a refund was offered, it made sense to accept.

Thought I should make this clear in case any cheapskates out there are thinking of abusing Amazon's excellent customer service.

If you haven't, try out the Strontium "Golden" cards. Cheap fast and good. 80MB/s
