Lucky u, is one of them from scb?

The latest secured credit card we applied is a Frank Card for my wife. We got 1% for the $10k FD. :D

Currently I do not have a card with SCB. I don't like them due to a couple of fraud issues with SCB cards previously. I am quite sure the leak was from their end.

well....1 particular stingy bank gives me a new card without revision to my credit limit despite i sent in my latest income documents.
and i'm not happy with this credit limit which is really the lowest of all. so i went to place a FD they say need 1 yr,so i say ok put lar, then you revise my credit limit then call me hor. see what happens next week.....this bank is known to be slow and too cautious. if they don't give me a decent credit limit i'll tell them cancel my FD give me back.:s8:

Yeah I also thinking abt this.. Can we link our secured frank card to the ocbc 360 acc? So we can enjoy the 1% interest? I have a savings acc with ocbc but yet to convert to 360 acc.

Hi there! Don't think this has been asked before, but it's a good time to clarify =)

Any spending done on a secured credit card, will be eligible to earn you the 1% bonus interest for your 360 account

However, as applying for a secured credit card requires you to lock in a fixed deposit with us, you will need to visit any one of our branches to do so

OCBC, if one goes for a secured card, are there still any employment/salary/residency requirements that need to be satisfied, or can someone move abroad and still have a CC (secured naturally) with OCBC?

Hi there. Unlike unsecured credit cards that requires income criteria, secured cards can be applied by any Singaporeans, PRs & foreigners of 21 years of age & above

A minimum SGD Time Deposit of S$10,000 must be secured against the OCBC Credit Card.

You can always set your mailing address to be an overseas address

Hi!

Unless you specified a certain limit, the card limit given should be $10k. The same as the amount you pledged with us

Whenever your card statements are available online, an email will be sent to notify you

That's right! The time deposit will be held with us, until you decide to terminate the card

You can certainly apply supplementary cards for your friends or relatives =)

I am currently on DMP and was thinking of applying for a secured credit card as my business trip will require a credit card as deposit at check-in. There are hotels which rejected my debit card.

Can I check if anyone knows of any bank that will approve secured credit card while during paying off the DMP loan?

Thanks.
