I m under TCP and PPS scheme but q no 19X.... 3rd week jan... I wonder are all the q nos before me are all priority schemes too??
Nope, dont think so.
When you apply under MCPS, you just get more tickets to throw into the whole lot so that chances of getting a good no is higher.
A normal 1st timer would have 2 ticket thrown in, while a 1st timer with MCPS priority would have an addition of 2 more chances..Means a total of 4 tickets into the wild ballot and the best no would be assigned to the applicant. If let say the assigned no isnt riding on a MCPS ticket then can let HDB know to opt out of the scheme(Parents wont have restriction).
For your PPS scheme, you get this below.
The Parenthood Priority Scheme (PPS) helps first-timer married couples with children to buy their first home. Under the PPS scheme, 30% of the BTO flat supply and 50% of the SBF flats will be set aside.
And for your TCP scheme,
The TCP Scheme is meant to encourage families to have more than two children. Up to 5% of the available flat supply is set aside for offer to TCP applicants. If you are eligible to apply for the TCP Scheme, your application will be included in a first round of ballot with other TCP applicants.
So, it all boils down to luck, the no of applicants for individual scheme and such.
Off topic, i nv use any scheme but i got 026 for May 2013 CCK 4rm and have seen others who nv use any scheme getting under 20.
