1st timer has 2 chance..

When u rejected for the very 1st time, you're still considered a 1st timer and u can reject another before being moved into the second timer bracket..

You can apply for this Nov BTO..

When is ur selection date?

In that case, if you were to go for this Nov BTO, you will know the ballot results in early Jan and then if the no is good, you can just make ur decision..

But i reckon with your 17xx no, by the time it's ur turn to select..Also nt much unit left and HDB will understand and likely not penalise you for not showing.

The thing is it's probably not going to be a daily selection.

The last q no to be called up for the day can be seen by going to HDB InfoWEB : Homepage > Login to My HDBPage > My Flat > New Flat > Click on reg no

It might be more accurate to check at the end of the day. And this can only be seen until you selected your unit.

For Bank Loan -

If you are eligible for a loan ceiling of 80%, you will have to pay the initial payment of :
5% in cash
balance 15% using CPF savings, CPF Housing Grant or cash

If you are eligible for a loan ceiling of 60%, you will have to pay the initial payment of :
10% in cash
balance using CPF savings, CPF Housing Grant or cash

If you are eligible for a loan ceiling of 50% or lower, you will have to pay the initial payment of :
20% in cash*

More information on the different loan ceilings for bank loans

You will not be subjected to the lower loan ceiling and higher cash payment when you obtain another housing loan for the purchase of an HDB flat if you are able to provide the financial institution granting the loan a copy of the signed undertaking to HDB committing to complete the sale of your sole existing property within the period stipulated in the undertaking.

Additional Measures to Ensure a Stable and Sustainable Property Market announced on 11 Jan 2013

* Flat buyers must pay another 5% in cash when they are invited to collect the keys to the new flat.

Hi all,

First timer here:). I noticed that for previous BTOs, the units that are facing rubbish chute are very unpopular, even the top floors (ie. 22nd floor) are not chosen when other units have their 2nd floors taken up. Will there be the smell so high up? :s11:

Thanks for your help!

What about hdb loan?

As long as one applicant under 30 at pt of application then can do staggered downpayment.

Simplify explanation,

1st Appt:
- $2000 option fee for 4rm and above, $1000 for 3rm and below

2nd Appt:
- 5% Downpayment from CPF(Cash top if not enough)
or - 10% Downpayment from CPF(Cash top if not enough inside O/A)
- Stamp fees, conveyancing fees etc etc from CPF

3rd appt(Taking possession of unit)
- Remaining 5% DP(If eligible for staggered DP)
- CPF wipe out before final loan amt is known(Straight to this is not eligible for staggered DP)..
