Just wondering, any opinions on Site A, Blk 30? It seems like the block is one of the least popular. wanna ask for opinion, please share the pros n cons for 3 or 4 room there?

Thanks Mistralfan! Good opinion. How about considering the fact that site A block 30 4R units have a 88 metre sq floor layout - wouldn't that be a plus point? Most of the 4R units all over are generally 83 metre sq...

Indeed the additional 5 sqm is a plus point. And Blk 30 is closer to the future supermarket going to be located at the multi-story carpark. Also Blk 30 is not facing the main road or MRT track, noise pollution will be low too.

Potential Con sides (just my views)
A. May have West North Sunset during certain months of the year. Not directly.

B. The empty plot of land beside the church is opened for private residential and will block some of the view and sunset.

C. The 4 room facing is not within the wind direction throughout the year. Not entirely but generally.

D. Furthest from the MRT station

E. Potential parking issue on weekend during church services.

Did I miss anything? I did not see any legend for supermarket in Blk31A multistorey car park?

MdmMuffet, can be found at the page 11 of the Site A sale brochure. The legend stated SM as supermarket and there is a little box on top of the page show the layout of Blk 31A carpark with SM on it.

S hit my nephew and his mum were informed by letter to go select a replacement flat.

The dumb nephew didn't bother or rather refuse to go and select the flat and the mum who is not staying with him is not aware of the flat selection. The mother's 50% share of the present flat has been willed to me by the mother and the will s with me

Meaning what?

The dumb nephew of mine don't care and don't want to go to select the replacement flat. At the end, I think HDB will only compensate him the valuation amount of 278k for his 2 room flat. He will not get the removal expense of 14k.

Half the compensation amount will go to the mother who has a 50% interest as tenant-in-common and the mother has no intention of giving him her share.

I being the sole beneficiary of her 50% interest may also not get a cent unless she dies before the handing over of the present flat

He could have sold the flat earlier in the open market at about 300k pluas but the mother wants him to have the replacement and refused the sale.
