My seller had requested the 1st appt to be in Nov so my 2nd appt with hdb is expected to be in jan/feb. Will I be in time for the selection?

Flat selection, yes
Size wise.. Is on aug/sept...

Any sers owner want to confirm this as well?

Iirc, i have checked with HDB.. You don't have to pay for stamp duties when you move to your new place.

Applicable to buyers as well (its waive as well)..

Might be wrong

Meaning have to pay twice??

The premium waived is not related to stamp duty.

Premium/Resale Levy will be waived if the Sers flat was bought directly from HDB or from the open market with CPF Housing Grant.

Same timing... My 1st appt end Nov, 2nd should be in jan 16. I got email exchange with Sers and confirmed I'll still Be eligible for balloting and follow with flat selection even if 2nd appt is later.

Note: The replacement flat under SERS that you select will be registered on a provisional basis, pending the completion of your purchase of the SERS flat.

Anyone knows when the balloting results will be out?

Hi Asj,

I checked in MyHDBPage. HDB say, they will soon send out the letter informing our queue number. I guess should be within dec 15th as our selection will be Q1 2016.

Thanks... Because I have not completed my 2nd appt that's why I see nothing on MyHDBPage. Opted for 5room...

4Roomer here too. Preference is with balcony for me. Also interested in site A. Hope will have enough good units for everyone!

I stayed on a 3rd storey of a 14 storey flat. All of them have their balcony windowed except mine. I bought a resale and accepted it as it is. When I sold it, the buyer also windowed the balcony. So most doesn't want balcony.
You sure you want and may end up spending money to window it and levelling the floor? Worst is the whole block is not allowed to window the balcony like those new EC and PC. I wish they allow me to cover up the balcony of my new place. Balcony may ok if your flat is big enough like my 143sm EA. Yet all of them covered up their balcony for more space!

I enjoy staying in apartments with balconies. Don't have the intention to window it so it's fine.
