I enjoy staying in apartments with balconies. Don't have the intention to window it so it's fine.

Wait till you own one and stay long enough. You need cleaning. Dust, rain and others throwing things and landing in your balcony etc less use of space and un-level floor with living room. When you got kids, you may need to install grills. Even my previous 163sm apartments, most owners window them.
