Welcome! Are you a resident there before the SERS announcement? Cos you are the first 3Roomer here.
Actually if you also consider site C, D and E, you can most definitely get above 20th level, which is considered high floor already.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Yes. already a Tanglin Halt-er before SERS, still remember my grandparents used to say we will be en-bloc in the future, it did but a little too late, wished we could live together in the new estate, no matter A,B,C,D or E.

Yes. now considering other Sites too.

Anyone knows , if the current Alexandra canal in front of SiteB will still exist ?If it exist inside the park, I may want to propose to HDB to have a foot-linkway/ pedestrian bridge across Alexandra Canal to Site B (shortcut to block 43 ), no need to make detour from Queenstown MRT Exit C.
SkyVille folks can get home faster too.

Even though high chance i can't get A or B, i feel that we deserve better, and deserve to have a say in our new estate, especially we are being''chased'' out.

Yeah I agree they should allow the residents have a say in the new plans. Not sure how much they will entertain us though.

Actually all the 5 sites are very good so don't limit yourself! You will still get a nice new place :)

thanks batniss, * gives u a pat on the back*
was feeling low after receiving the ''verdict'',
coz any sites other than A &B is further from MRT than my current flat .
I'm not too good with calculations and property speculations, so just stick with original plan,go with the flow to avoid any risk..
sorry , can't help much..

Site E is actually very near to mrt too, could be nearer than site A as site A is very big with many blocks.
Site C and D from what I heard is about 10min walk, very reasonable walking distance, so don't fret.

Based on the price list, site B units are more expensive.. I roughly figure that HDB must have done some valuation and they know best what will be build at the empty land reserved for high rise residential. With that, Site B units must be assessed as better units for some good reasons:

1) Could be the closer to MRT (There is a PCN connector cut across the two future condo
2) Shops and Kopitiam at Site B
3) Some units having pool view haha for those facing the condo
4) Direct access to park connector
5) The corridor layout is more spacious and standard vs Site A
6) The condo is selling at $1.3m for 3 bedroom. Site B 3 bedroom is $600K
