Sharp Aquos phones

Seems like it's a common thing wife will get you to setup phone everytime she change phone. I have to setup for my wife too... lol

Setting up thus far...

android , sharp sony regardless isnt problematic...

its just getting use to using search or googling... if i cant even do that within 10mins i should quit my job liao...

but frankly.. its the accessories that kills...

glass screen and casing... these 2 are always a problem when trying to get new phones not from china or main stream

Yeah, screen protector and case is a headache if you don't get common available models. Moreover applying film type of screen protector is not an easy job...

Hi all, I am interested in getting either the sense 8 or 9 as a backup phone (main phone is iphone 13 mini), for banking apps and as a music player (using microsd card) can I ask users:

1. Is there a compelling price to value to get sense 9 over sense 8? (Sense 8 is $279 on Lazada)
2. Has any one tried the dp-alt function? Does it work well to plug through a usb-c monitor?

Aesthetics wise, Sense 9 is nicer.
Sense 9 has better speakers & ultrawide camera.
Slightly faster Snapdragon SOC.
Longer period of Android updates.

Saw the Sense 8 in green colour going for just $24X on the official Sharp website on Laz yeesterday or was it the night before that...

Yes my r8s pro runs warm too. My first one bought this year got very hot , took to the centre, got 1 for 1 swap as battery problem detected. New one still runs warm but not as hot as previous one. . The tech serving me said his r8s pro runs warm too. Looks like it's just that way

Just ordered at $24x since they had LazFlash with earbuds. Seems a really good deal

TLDR: Very minimal changes, might as well wait for the R9 and wish 4 to go on clearance sale

There is no Wifi 6 due to the choice of Snapdragon SOC.
Likely out of their BOM budget to put a newer SOC inside.

Hope Sharp don't follow iphone's design trend, whereby all series looks almost the same in design.
