Removing camera? Then get cheapest one lor.

Hmm R9 cheapest was 422 previously.
Hmm the main benefit I see is the larger screen and nicer finishing the processor any significant diff?

Sharp r9 430
Sense 9 340
Worth paying more? I am removing camera to use
The newer & much faster Snapdragon SOC & UFS 4.0 flash on the R9 is definitely worth the extra $90.
Not to mention, it has WIFI 7 (instead of WIFI 5).
Lastly, it has UWB built-in which can be used with UWB Smart trackers.
It's a no brainer unless you can't deal with the R9 size & weight.

Sorry, like to highlight I do not have the phone. But to me if due to circumstances that I need to remove some of the phone functions, like in your case, removing camera, I won't get the higher priced one. That's me but ymmv, if large screen is your thing, go ahead.

Follow up to my previous posts ....So I went to 438b Alexandra Rd to the Sharp service centre to get my r8s pro checked out. They found something buggy with my phone battery and did a 1 for 1 swap. Honestly both nice and annoying as I had to transfer everything and log into everything again. Phone was under warranty luckily.

New phone can get warm but not hot like before.

Fingers crossed will enjoy the phone for years 👌

Was at Gain City today to buy other electrical appliances.
Was checking the R9 Pro, R9 & Sense 9 camera interface.
R9 Pro has the most camera options & have a macro mode.
Sense 9 has a macro mode as well.
R9 has no macro mode, which is odd.

Bought the r9 in the end as comparing with sense 9 side by side the screen was significantly brighter, build quality was also a decent improvement

On my R9, occasionally I have to bring the phone closer for a successful scan.
On my Sense 8, usually it works fine but perhaps require more attempts at times.

Decent i guess... wifu's complain is the lack of good casing..... lol

so far the camera has been serving her well apart from the QR code scan

Many choices in Japan retail stores. Or you can buy from Japanese sites that ship to SG.
Lol i did order from Rakuten, but instant regret.... so many things to settle..

basically no more sharp phones until casing and what not more mainstream...

will be getting her oppo back or vivo ... really too much stress when switching her phone and setting up .... :spin: :s22:
