Likely is Maxis issue.I am using Sense8 with MVNO Eight. In SG the VoLTE icon can be seen at topbar, and I can make and receive voice calls. When in Malaysia, Eight roaming autoconnect to Maxis, data no problem, but the VoLTE icon does not show up. When back in SG, VoLTE icon will show up again. What is the reason ? Is this phone model specific ?
If you are looking for better performance phone between the R9 Pro and R10, the R9 Pro is the better choice. The R9 pro features a better processor, display, and camera system compared to the R10.Any recommendations on which to get as of now? Looking at either the R9 pro or R10 (since r9 out of stock)
The price of R9 pro and 10 is also about the same price. Not sure what's happening there. Nod thing I do observed is the design of R9 pro is similar to xiaomi 15tIf you are looking for better performance phone between the R9 Pro and R10, the R9 Pro is the better choice. Will probably upgrade my Sense 8 over to this new Sense 10. The green screen on 8 has bugged me for past 2 years.
Funny how they skipped the R10 Pro this year. Was hoping it could replace the R9 Pro which was quite disappointing in specs.
Seems to also come with some improvement in features like what they did with the R10. Better speakers, AI for photos, etc. Android 16 out of box. Officially released 13 Nov in Japan. https://global.sharp/corporate/news/251031-d.html

chiu kana green screen still dare to buy the same series again?![]()
Downside being the 7s Gen3 SoC just got built into Sense 10 when 7s Gen4 has already been released, although tbf the only improvement would be the Prime Core Clock speed (+200MHz on 7s Gen4) alone.https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/05/sharp-aquos-sense-10-launched-japan/
Sharp AQUOS Sense 10 debuts with OLED display, 50MP camera, and 5000mAh battery
Sharp has announced its new AQUOS Sense 10 smartphone, a follow-up to last year’s AQUOS Sense 9. The phone will go on sale in Japan on November 13, followed by launches in Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore.
The AQUOS Sense 10 runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which delivers about 20% better CPU performance, 40% stronger GPU output, and 30% faster AI processing compared to the previous Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It features a 6.1-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a variable refresh rate of up to 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 1500 nits.
Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery, which Sharp claims can last up to two days with ten hours of daily use on a full charge. It runs Android 16 and comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
On the back, the phone has a 50.3MP standard and wide-angle camera. The front camera is a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Sharp has added new AI features that help improve image quality and voice clarity during calls.
Other features include NFC, facial recognition, fingerprint authentication, Bluetooth 5.2, dual box speakers, and eight new Photo Style filters. The phone meets the MIL-STD-810H military durability standard and has IPX5, IPX8, and IP6X ratings for water and dust resistance.
Pricing & availability
The AQUOS Sense 10 will be available in six colors: Denim Navy, Khaki Green, Pale Pink, Pale Mint, Full Black, and Light Silver. Sharp will also release matching silicone cases for each color. In addition, there are special edition cases made with Japanese brands SPINGLE, KOJIMA GENES, and BLUE SAKURA, including models crafted from denim fabric. The 6GB/128GB variant is priced at 62,700 yen, while the 8GB/256GB version costs 69,300 yen. Orders will open on November 10, and shipping will begin on November 13.
