Shopback has been quite miserable on it's cashback.

To some extend I stopped making the effort to order thru shopback.

Some merchants like Foodpanda, shopee I'm getting like $0.01 or $0.03 cashback which is totally not worth the effort.

Also the Foodpanda/grab vouchers I ever had premature expiry (the voucher expired earlier than the stated date). Which after escalated thru Grab to find out actually there was a disjoint in the expiry date.......grab system date was earlier while Shopback records shows like 10 days later.

Made worse I went to shopback they initially just apologize without even compensate as I was still 5 days before shopback expiry but I cannot use the voucher anymore.

I was one of the long time shopback user since they launched way back (it was good) but sadly I skipped shopback not to sell anymore of my order info for just measy 1cent 2cent..........

still good for me for certain websites like iherb, myprotein etc.

during special periods like (9.9, national day etc) will have upsized cashback - 8%, 10+% or even more.

only thing is can only withdraw one to two months later but not an issue since i treat this like an extra. 1 of my recent iherb purchase (think was in Jun / Jul) had cashback of more than $20 and i dun even need to wait to accumulate the min amt for withdrawal.

of course sometimes during sale periods like the 9.9, 11.11, BF, etc... you can time it for enhanced cashbacks that shopback typically offer.

i don't always consciously use it, as i installed the chrome extension so if i see the pop-up reminding me got shopback then i use. if get cashback, get. if don't, don't. won't fret over the cashbacks. there's better things in life to fret over the cents from cashback, such as investing, use money to work even harder for you.

Does anyone know whether we are eligible to get cashback from ShopBack if Taobao order is paid using Alipay? Or must make payment using credit card directly?

recently saw a lot promotion for shopback pay so setup and use it to make cashless payment in one or two merchant i saw using it.
It’s the worst decision ever.
Totally useless as the cash back will not be valid unless u go back to the same merchant to spend again before a due date given.
So if you aren’t sure if you will go back to the same merchant, i suggest don’t use shopback pay. Grab pay will be easier and earn points that can easily convert to offset ride or food delivery

It has been like that for quite a while already.

No difference from Fave.

In a way, that's the only way these bring value to their merchants, repeating customer

It's been like that .... sometimes if I remember, I will go back to the same stall/store, buy the cheapest, viable items available just to get the rebate or reset the "clock".

My personal preference will be FavePay or GrabPay/GrabPay Mastercard over Shopback Pay. I think FavePay discount/cashback is much higher compared to Shopback Pay with the same concept.

Why not Grab via Fave or Shopback than directly using via Grab, it'll double stack. both platforms accepts Grab

the concept of FavePay and Shopback has been around for years alr, nothing new.

nope it depends. the places i use for Shopback Pay is higher than Fave.

Yes, you are correct. I missed out in my previous post that I am using GrabPay/GrabPay Mastercard for FavePay.
