Hi guys,

I use iexplorer for the transfer of files to my iphone.

A question here.. i made my lockscreen all empty by tweaks. How do i create a .theme file and start out with creating a theme for my lockscreen? I have all the weather widgets and etc.. any clean LS to start out with or guides to follow? TIA

With that LockBackground.html file, you can fire up your lockscreen already. Customise your wallpaper, and tweak with the codings inside & overlays provided. Programming language knowledge helps alot. Use wordpad to open up the .html file.

Be careful when you tweak with details. Before you try something, don't delete away the earlier coding. Just tether off with 2 backstroke like this first:

// testing out the coding below... display: none;
display: true;

Everything that opens <script>, must close </script>. I missed one </body> and my theme force my phone not being able to respring.

My work for today - LS Supergirl.

Today I tried to incorporate wordings to complement the location Singapore and weather description. I wanted to code 2 wordings - "IN" and "IT'S" in between "Singapore" and "weather description".

I thought of an idea and I used <style type="text/css">, coded in the necessary font-size; font-family; etc. But still couldn't make a spacing in between coz I'm still not sure about html algorithms. In the end I used word-spacing: XXXpx; thankfully it works.

The satisfaction of successful coding beats using photoshop to write the words on the overlays.

just to add, you can use Internet Explorer or Chrome's Developer Tool option to modify your theme.

thanks, figuring out.. i had the weather widget transfer to my phone, i create a folder called weather.theme and dump the files inside.. i respring my phone the weather only showed in Homescreen,

how to make it showed on lockscreen instead? tia

The .html file that u threw inside, must be named as LockBackground.html.

Try it and let us know.

Must understand a little bit of HTML codings it'll aid in quickening unnecessary respring to test drive to see the end result again & again. Any phrase of problem u faced can ask here, anyone who's free will answer to ur prob 1st hand.

Are u implying u wanna use that lockscreen, as well as maintaining buuf related themes in ur springboard? Can, just put 2 ticks at ur winterboard.

1) open up ur LockBackground.html or a (XX.css file under private/stylesheets) look for #clock or #time. Tweak the top: XXpx; left: XXpx;

2) it's all inside UIImages folder. Replace them with ur desired icons

Thing is, am i all set to go once i have winterboard? is iFile free to dl? Or is there a cracked version?

But how n where do i actually copy n paste the qClock lockscreen's codings to? For this lockscreen, is having winterboard solely, enough? Or do i require other apps as well from cydia?
