At 1 litre, I think there is not much room in the chassis to fit more components though. Also the 65W charger may become a limitation to additional components.

I'm just thinking of adding a 4 port NIC for use as a router.

The M720q/M920q has that expansion option, but 2nd hand units on ebay is kinda overpriced for what it is.

Afaik Lenovo does have M720q/M920q SKUs that come with a P620 Quadro or Intel I350-T4 NIc.

I think it is possible, but you will need a higher wattage power brick for it. For the M75q Gen 2, they used to have a 90/95W PSU option. But they removed that option when I was buying one unit. The base PSU of 65W is probably just enough since they are using a 35W TDP CPU.

If you don't mind a bigger chassis, I think the M75s Gen 2 is just as attractively priced. While it is much bigger than the M75Q, I think you get a more powerful built in PSU and I think it should also be more upgradable.

I see. Why don't you check with Lenovo CS what is the bottleneck for the delivery? If it is indeed the 2x USB 3.1 card, then may be can check if you can drop it instead.

Label created in HK, then flew to Taiwan, then to Shenzhen, and lastly to Spore. Just puzzled why the PC needs to travel to so many places before reaching Spore.

I think whatever order they have taken, they will likely fulfill it. But the reason the model is now gone is just as you mentioned, its EOL. May be can wait for Gen 3.

It depends on the carrier. UPS may have parcels to drop/ pickup along the way.
