ahhh it seems ive missed this intake so i have to apply for january intake one...i got a few queries

1)when does the jan 2013 intake application starts?

2)for those already in is there a different kind of people at each of the 2 intakes..i.e jul more towards ORD-ed personnel for example

3)for those who are using bank loans for your fees.....do u only start applying and confirming after ur acceptance? cause i read somewhere where once u get the acceptance letter you must make payments immediately?

4) i got a diploma in IT from TP and i doubt its a business related course and with a sad GPA of 1.8 ...what are my chances of getting into SIM-RMIT

5)for now im actually interested in the events / communications industry so what courses would be good other than marketing....i think mass comm is out of the way as the eligibility seems more tougher and UOB is much more expensive

2) every intake such have ord personel one
3) not sure about this
4) SIM see you money not your grades, lol. I heard 1.2 also got people get accepted, don't worry.
5) This one i not sure, i'm taking accounting.

i personally feel if you're one who don't like to crack your brains solving solutions and mathematics, avoid Business Finance.
Marketing is for people who knows there really wants to work in Marketing dept in future, to market products, create products, advertising etc.
HR for those who like to do a stand-alone job - don't have to really interact with customers, interviews and heavy Admin jobs.

By the way once u take HR, it'll be HR electives all the way, you can't take 3 modules from HR and 1 from Marketing etc.
And by the way, I thought we already submit our Minor Electives during Enrolment Session?


And is anyone going for BBM Advanced 1 Induction on 6th July? Can anyone enlighten me what time is the Induction Session on 6th July Advanced 1? Thanks anyone!!

Apparently, the staff said that we can alter our option again, not sure when though.

As for the BBM Advanced 1 Induction on 6th July, it start from 10am to 5pm. RM 2.37 Level 2 Room B

I think Xander13 is right. I attended the induction on 13 July and was told the time has changed from 10am to 12noon. It should be 7july, can refer to the offer letter.
Btw, I am from biz mgt (part time), chose HR as my minor.
