uol is tough, but not that HARD. many ppl expect they could slack n talk n not revise their stuffs until the very last month b4 exams. end up failing their paper or getting borderline pass marks.
my advise to the freshies here is -- please dont underestimate the exams , even if your lecturer make the subject sounds very simple, please dont be complacent. LSE profs are well known of coming out with major stunners, be it econs , accounting or other qualitative papers

Oh ok. Me is Dip in Biotech in poly so considered bio student also, no econs knowledge and background as well. How come u wanna switch to Deg in Biz??

I can confirm that u won't drop out if u are diligent enough and study hard.

Some questions on my mind ? Do we have access to past-year papers ? Someone without any business background, can they cope, and what sort of preparation should they do ?

i wanted to go to nus nursing but i dont think i can get it due to my results so just forget it and go get a business degree instead.

Oh ok, i got go for NUS nursing talk b4 as well but then also dun think i can get in due to average results in poly.....so just go get biz degree. Cos i heard that having a nursing deg is not bad as well.

Though u dun have a biz background, u can still cope as long as u put in the required effort lar, let me ask u a qns back, when u are young, a lot of things u dunno rite?? U learn thru it 1 rite?? Then after that u go sch also no background of studies rite?? So my point here is to say as long as u have the passion and put in the effort and be diligent enough, I dun see why u can't score well, unless u are those very lazy type or those bo chup type, then i have nth to say.

The preparation would be own self study 1st, try to grasp and understand by self-study and gain some knowledge 1st, so that when our course start and we go study, we won't feel too stress.

Me had already started self study for microecons, going to start macroecons soon in preparation for the intro to econs module, but i think they will give preparatory classes for econs and maths.
