Just trying to revive this thread as right now, i'm also encountering the similar situation that most of the people faced.

Currently SIM are well known to produce many firs class honors each year as stated on their website, whereas SAA have not disclose any numbers of first class honor students that they had produced.

But from all the information i gathered from this threads, i would say that most of you praised SAA for its teaching compared to SIM.

Therefore, is it possible for any SAA/SIM graduates or student to comment and further update us on both educational system provided?

As for the difference of SAA/SIM i not very sure. Haha cuz i going 2011 intake.
But
I noe 1 difference for my case (UOL acc&Finance) is that..

For SAA the Business Related Diploma(Apart from Accounts/Banking) Are able to go for bridging in ECONS+ MATHS
But
SIM only allow for MATHS

I guess you are having part time lessons now?You will definitely need access to the subject guides.Clearing the whole IBM study guide by year end is exaggerated.Completing it by February sounds more possible.

Can go through any UOL guide fairly quickly, its the revision and the lecturer support that's the key issue.

I have graduated last year. So far, the lecturers at SAA are quite good and are very approachable. Maybe the class size is smaller and its more like a family.
Also, heard that they have relocated to TripleOne Somerset.
Last time, we got to travel down to Singapore Conference hall and Raffles Quay. New students are lucky

Really, SAA has moved. We were invited to TripleOne Somerset in June for a networking night. The place is quite big and very new @ level 6. The ICPAS prof exams people were there to give us a talk too.

Hi all , I would like to ask about the timetable for their first year SAA-UOL Business degrees? Is it 3 times a week mostly Mon-Friday mornings?

I took UOL degree last year from SAA which I feel personally, is better than SIM.
In terms of lecturer and school's location... SAA is pretty outstanding.
ps: I am not trying to judge, but I went for SIM lectures before too.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions. onlyadvertisment@gmail .com (seems like a junk email, but well, I use this email for all kinds of public information. :p )

Oh yah, SAA have referral scheme. We can share the rewards. Hahaha.

Bumping this thread.

Can anyone else give their experience/opinion at SAA for the UOL programme; especially more current views?
I'm considering between SIM & SAA for Accounting & Finance.
Campus facilities don't matter to me as I intend to take my degree part-time.

SAA is more convenient for me as I stay at the east side (~45minutes to get home vs SIM 80 minutes)
SIM supposedly has the best/better lecturers and also invites the UK lecturers down during the revision periods; how about SAA?
SAA probably has smaller sized classes?

Thanks
