Quick search will show that there's a minimum 2 month period, as there's a early termination fee of $30. Below is the T&C for SuperRoam MY.I just signed up for a new simba line. Anyone knows if I can port the number to another provider after 3 days? Is there a minimum subscription period I need to fulfil?

SIMBA calls themselves no-contract plans.. but they have lot of hidden contracts! Regulation says you can charge customer but cannot deny them of port-out! Need to complain to IMDA.It’s “all stated” in your contact when you sign with the golden number they offered. The contract doesn’t seem feasible, but you agreed to it. Have to go thru all the trouble. I would have kept the number for 24 months instead.
Are you sure that Senior plan cannot port out ?SIMBA calls themselves no-contract plans.. but they have lot of hidden contracts!
- Tie you for choice number contract
- Golden number contract for 24 months
- Senior plan cannot port out
- Within 30 days cannot port-out (got fees).
Hate these red tapes!
Ported out Senior plans for my folks before. So I'm not sure what you are trying to do here.SIMBA calls themselves no-contract plans.. but they have lot of hidden contracts!

I found out the issue. Its the Senior plans during go digital campaign with IMDA. Those come with 24 months contract, and when you try to port-out, it says line is terminated. I have tried it myself, why will I bluff one! Anyone here have senior plan with go digital IMDA campaign line?High likely user issue.
No issues with porting out, Golden number T&C stated during sign up, fees for porting out within 30 days is a norm for all other telcos since either there is no proration or fees are charged.
Not sure what you are up to here.

I'm curious about your information. Since when was there a 24 month contract with SIMBA? They are a no-contract operator.I found out the issue. You didn't miss much. I opted for delivery twice. First one didn't arrive and I tried to solve the issue via emails, which eventually got no reply that I just got myself to the counter, handed my ID and got the SIM card. Hardly any word exchanged. Second one, coz I forgot about the incident, I just wait for a whole week before heading to their counter. Even had the cheek to want to check if my delivery address was correct before waiving the $5 "replacement fee".There was no option for delivery when I signed up online. Only options given was collection at service centre or esim. I would definitely have chosen FOC delivery if it was available in the first place as an option

Lucky you.Weird, there should be a postal mail option when you sign up. I ported in my other line to SIMBA last month and received my sim card by mail. Took about 3 days.
That's the way they work with the "Lucky Numbers". You can't terminate nor port out for 24 months, otherwise have to pay the other 50% fee pro-rated, over the counter (only).thats why must warn ppl, im not the only one who gana the so called golden number thing already. Plus gan stupid have to travel down to use paynow just to cancel the number. I actually thought of using see if network is ok for normal usage at bukit gombak or not, apparently not, keeping it for 24 months not feasible for me ba
whether number is recycled or not, I paid for it and the terms and condition was not obvious. i only know when i want to cancel
Then that's a total different issue, since its a "contract" with it being for Seniors Go Digital, not direct SIMBA Senior.I found out the issue. There's no contract for Seniors Go Digital (normal seniors plan). IMDA does state a 2y contract for Mobile Access for Seniors (low-income seniors plan). Then that's a total different issue, since its a "contract" with it being for Seniors Go Digital, not direct SIMBA Senior.
As with all campaigns, there will be contract terms etc. so honestly not surprised.
Did you clarified before porting out etc.?
Yeah, that's what I meant that choosing the one with T&C attached was the issue. There's no contract for Seniors Go Digital (normal seniors plan). IMDA does state a 2y contract for Mobile Access for Seniors (low-income seniors plan).
They are two very different schemes. But unfortunately for her, the plan details are identical for SIMBA with the same pricing too, so it made no sense to sign up for MAS instead of SGD especially since one has a contract that IDMA states.
Wait, you said you want to port out from SIMBA to GOMO and its stuck aka failed porting to GOMO if I understand it correctly.I read this too late. I wanted to port out Simba to Gomo. Bcuz I never get their so-called 5G service. Now it's stuck..
I had wanted to port in to Simba Senior Plan, now definitely a big NO.
Stay away from Simba.

Yeap, porting out from Simba to Gomo failed. Now stuck in no-man's land. Gomo SIM after activation has no signal for over a week. Now, dunno who's waiting for who ?Wait, you said you want to port out from SIMBA to GOMO and its stuck aka failed porting to GOMO if I understand it correctly.
Next, you are porting in to SIMBA senior, how?![]()
Have you enquired with both parties to find out the status?Yeap, porting out from Simba to Gomo failed. Now stuck in no-man's land. Gomo SIM after activation has no signal for over a week. Now, dunno who's waiting for who ?
I was considering porting out another number from eight to Simba Senior to save $3, now it's a no no after the above issue.
I'd stay far away from Simba.
Last night had a strange issue on my phone when I set my dual SIM data to SImba. Waze complained about no gps. Then I set data back to eight, and all was ok. Although gps had no relevance to network issue, it seems strangely affected.
