Accidentally purchase the wrong e-sim plan and only realized when they sent me the confirmation email. Immediately Emailed them to only receive a response 10 hours later

They said I can change the plan but I can’t just pay the difference ($5). I would need to pay for both plans, when I haven’t even added the e-sim onto my phone and used a single day.

I’m wondering making a trip down to orchard can even solve my issue or just make me angrier because they might ask me to just suck thumb and I have to spent an additional $4 for my train back and forth Plus the additional waiting time there…

SIMBA CS really damn “good”…
I am pretty sure they will say it's your fault for not checking before paying for the plan. To change the plan, you need to pay for the plan you are changing to.

Use the wrong plan for 24 days and change it on the 25th. The last 5 days of cycle they don't allow change of plan.

IMHO.
Sometime back, got a Simba for someone else to use for USA but upon arrival, didn't work.
Didn't work even during the stopover in London.
Now I can't even suggest Simba for overseas because the "trust" by the someone else was gone.

I also went through lousy experience with them, and I find their billing is very confusing.
Luckily I tried and have bad experience, because my daughter also wanted to port in to SIMBA and I quickly stopped her!

if a company can twist the facts against a disrupted service, the damage done is more than the brand that should see the light in public (just like dbs saga taken action by mas), but imda is nothing, and not simba is pretty nothing on this thread in term of damage done, to twist a fact, how many folks are involved
Could this be a reason why they changed from TPG to SIMBA? change brand/name also no use if continue to give lousy service.

Nothing to do with that ... TPG sold was sold to Tuas Limited (ASX:TUA). SIMBA Telecom is Singapore's 4th fully licensed mobile network operator with full 4G and 5G spectrum rights. Different business entities.

From the wiki
In 2020, the merger of TPG Australia with Vodafone Hutchison Australia to form TPG Telecom resulted in TPG Singapore splitting up from its Australian counterpart. As a result, TPG Singapore operated under the newly established and Australian-listed Tuas Ltd, also founded by Teoh, independently of the merged TPG Telecom entity. In 2022, TPG Singapore was rebranded to SIMBA Telecom after the usage rights to TPG brand expired.

Funny how now the crime pop up on top of the thread. Lots of new customers do not know how Simba payment works and their charges

I see, have SIMBA ever resolved it for you, since you have proof that you already paid for that month. Sounds like a system error tbh, not uncommon happened with Singtel before too.
Nope, SIMBA insists that I had not paid even though they had sent me invoice indicating that I have. Which is why I said their billing system is very confusing. I end up having to pay extra $30+ to get my line reactivated and then terminate it 3 days later in order to port in to MyRepublic.

For this, SIMBA will never ever have me and my family's businesses.

My late dad was using the Senior plan till the day he passed on so I have to close my late dad's account after informing all his kakis about his death. There are some residual monies left in his account. Myself was holding another line with Simba.
I went to Kaki Bukit to explain the situation with proof of death cert. I proposed 2 solutions. (1) To transfer the residual monies to my account and close my late dad's account or
(2) To overide my late dad's number with my number and continue using the plan.
Both proposal was rejected. The staff told me to continue using my late dad's account till the wallet monies finish. I told Simba that I can't be calling out using my late dad's number or receive my late dad's kakis calls but they won't understand. So lesson learnt, DO NOT TOP UP SIMBA WALLET FOR MONTHLY REPAYMENT. ITS A ONE WAY TICKET WITH NO REFUND. USE CREDIT CARD FOR RECURRING PAYMENT.
My other phone was stolen and I just topped up $30. I checked the T&C and noted that monies in the wallet is un-refundable.

Lesson here is only to top up when they cannot deduct and remind you and not top up more than what is necessary.

The money in Main Wallet is not refundable was listed in their Terms and Conditions since the beginning.

You choose to forfeit your $30 in your Main Wallet since you decided not to request for a new SIM card and continue with SIMBA.

That is correct.
