iPhone 6 is way too old.
iPhone 7 GSM and later min, even then iOS 16 doesn't support iPhone 6S and 7 series anymore, so please upgrade to a much more recent iPhone.

That is correct, if your mobile supports VoLTE. Otherwise you will need to use the SiMBA Voice App (was TPG 4G Voice App). Good thing is that they updated the voice app in the Play Store last week and now it shows the new logo but more important they have removed the country restrictions and I can now finally open & use it in Europe, however the information is not yet updated on their website as it seems... It still shows can only be used in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India, Japan, Taiwan. But it now works in other countries too, I can confirm it works in France, Germany, Luxembourg... Maybe the rest of their roaming countries too, others can verify when they travel...
Wow!

any performance or roaming difference with the $8 plan and the senior $5 plan apart from the free local data and talk time?

I know simba is not reliable for overseas roaming but sufficient for whatsapp/map etc so that will meet my traveling requirements.

Also, can simba support tethering ?
$8 plan? Business plan?

I don't think SIMBA Telecom have the mechanism to limit performance based on plans for roaming, but if yes, they would have to prioritize SIMBA SuperRoam over everyone else, which I don't think so.

What do you mean by native dialer? That means no need to use the app to make calls in sg?

I used it in Sydney. It connected to Vodafone, which was usable but slow. But it was good enough to get from the airport to the hotel, then to the shop, where I got a local (Optus) prepaid card which I used for the rest of the trip.

I presume it would be similar in Adelaide.

Same experience in Gold Coast too - the free 1GB roaming on Vodafone was very slow.
But sufficient for Waze routing to nearest mall followed by activation of cheap local SIM prepaid card (Optus-based telco too) to replace it.

thanks for replies. thought can get the superroam and stick to one sim card for convenience, so end up still have to get a local prepaid.

I suspect is because Australian roaming is through Orange France too, which resulted in high latency since it's going through such a long distance from Australia to continental Europe.

Hi all, I signup for the SIMBA SuperRoam. Monthly is $25 charged to my debit card correct? What happen if I topup $10 into my account? Will it continue to deduct $25 from my card every month or will it deduct $10 from the wallet and $15 from my debit card?

top up to app?

$10 will be stuck there to deduct excess charges

$25 will still be deducted from your card

Eh, btw, my phone show TPG. I thought it is named SIMBA now?
it's in transition face, their company name officially changed to Simba Telecom on ACRA. Their mobile app also changed to SIMBA. Network configurations will take some time. I remember seeing they will officially be known as SIMBA from Sep or Oct
