Did u reset your network settings and set up TPG APN again? Previous settings might be screwing up your device.
I did a full restore of iOS bro, haha so it’s considered a fresh new setting :)

So bro do you have TPG under these 2?
I don’t know what’s going on… Since morning I can’t make/receive calls (intermittently) :s11:

Hmm iPhone users here? I’d like to ask…

Is there a need to add “TPG” to APN for Mobile Data and LTE SETUP?

Sigh, thought this SIMBA was good, but, lol dunno why met with such technical issues... :(

Maybe go down TPG orchard see if they can help haha. By right VoLTE should work without much issue (like what Singtel/ M1 and StarHub has)

What APN are you using?

My TPG line on iPhone 7 with APN set to tpg (on mobile data section only) can call without using voice app and data roam in Malaysia. OR are you in some basement level where TPG coverage is cmi.

I am using Redmi 9s, which is listed as one of the approved handset for SIMBA. And yet I have difficulty in using the roaming call in JB, whereas data roaming is alright.
I have approached their support team. But no solution, and I am advice to use their voice app, which I refuse.

So you are in JB and wants to make a roaming call from JB to Spore or JB to JB right? And you can't dial out even when using +65xxxx-xxxx right? Not sure what's wrong then. Maybe Operator not supported??

But anyway why use direct dialing which will incur charges when I suppose using the Voice App will not incur any extra charges except consuming some data.

See below:
Voice Calls
To make and receive calls via VoLTE, here are the following requirements:
Otherwise, download SIMBA Voice App. You can enjoy FREE unlimited outgoing calls to Singapore Mobile numbers, FREE incoming calls and FREE incoming SMS with the SIMBA voice app in all 124 destinations.

Please add +65 if you are making calls to Singapore while roaming.

I've tried with and without APN TPN, the issue still persisted.

It seems alright now, I'll monitor again. :)

As for Roam Ready, yet to try and also less than 48 hours, tomorrow see how bah... Lol!

The roaming call was made from JB to Singapore. Just for trying out. But failed. Once i step on Singapore Custom checkpoint, the calling resume as normal.

As for operator, I think should be correct - Celcom4G. Be it automatic selection of manual selection, it was Celcom4G. Data roaming is working fine, but the roaming call does not even has a dial-tone, and it turn off about 3 seconds.

I have tried out both, with and without the prefix of 65, are not working.

Anyway, as i less than often go to JB, so I let it pass. Just wondering why some supported handsets is not working as it stated. haha!

Full restore or full reset?
Restore will place every setting back to where it was last backed up, so any cockup will still be placed back.

And yes, together with hotspot.

Okay so all 3 section I’ll add TPG and see how it goes first.

Restore - meaning i installed a fresh new ipsw, like when you first boot up and set up the iPhone as new bro haha, not “Restore from backup “. :)

I’ll monitor and see if the intermittent issue persists, thanks anyway!

I'm using SIMBA on iPhone for v long time now. Only need to set apn for mobile data and hotspot, no need to care about lte. Volte and roaming both work well.

Currently on a $17.90 Gomo plan, should I be a cheapskate and switch to $10 simba plan? I don't go overseas.
Been on LTE the entire day, feels okay.. But, yesterday intermittently cannot make/receive calls but today seems stable (for now) lol…

I'm newbie too, last week!

Don't have to wait for 2 days for porting.

You shall get an SMS at about 1140pm tonight telling you that your Changi number is ported in to SIMBA from Changi successfully.

In case you don't get the SMS at 1140pm. Then, the SMS will come in at 4am.

It's either at 1140pm or 4am depending on the porting schedule for your number.
