& you can save more than that. If you top up via Shopee, they give out $1 off $10 spend daily (but must pay using ShopeePay). So, it's effectively, $9 per month for the 100GB plan.

SMS isn't affected, works with or without VoLTE on.

SMS certainly doesn't work with wifi. It's not WhatsApp you know, you need a network connection although data doesn't need to be on.

use google messages for wifi messaging

yes, I've been topping up Simba account via Qoo10 for months. I tried Shopee to top-up before and it is slower than Qoo10. I prefer to top-up via Qoo10.

Qoo10 system is automated, it tops up your SIMBA account automatically right after your payment. Whereas Shopee, you have to wait hours for seller to top it up manually. I tried topping it up at night, only for the top-up to be updated next day and have already passed the (SIMBA auto debit from credit card). I wanted to avoid auto credit from my Credit card as I wanted to make use of coins, end up I have extra $10 credit. After that, i used Qoo10 all along to top-up account.

Qoo10 i can make use of coins and Q-points. But if you timed correctly and don't mind the wait for top-up, you can use shopee coins and vouchers.

Qoo10 also accepts Atome payment options, can split payment into 3 months

u can try exchanging to q coins. More wu hua as 1 q coin is worth more than 100 points.

Between my SIMBA account, & various prepaid cards, must have topped up almost $200 with these 2 shops with no issues.

Just need to take note that while it goes through the shopee interface, it is still a manual top up by a shop. My experience with both these shops are super responsive & fast, within minutes usually, but only during the shop's operating hours (which is 10 am - 10:30 pm for the first shop, which is the one I usually use). If you top up in the middle of the night, nothing will happen until they open. So you need to plan accordingly.

For iPhone Users:

Do you realize youwil only be able to receive calls/smses if you turn on VoLTE? I used to think it's not a persistent issue until recently.

Moreover, turning on VoLTE drains battery more.

Anyone having the same issue?

Tested on iPhone 14 Plus, 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max.

That's no longer the traditional "sms" most people refer to, just like iMessage. You still need regular sms funtionality for OTP and some banking services.

The error is topup failed. For simba postpaid topup through qoo10, is it a must to topup on the exact day on which the plan is renewed or we need to topup 2-3 days before expiry date and then do a manual plan renew in the app.
