My mobile plan is currently deducting $10 every 30 days from my cc. If I go to physical shop pay cash to top-up, will Simba auto deduct from the account balance instead of from my cc?

Can top up, it will be in your simba wallet, able to check in your app.
subscription will deduct from Simba wallet before CC. Make sure it’s top up 5 days before the due/next renewal date.

Why pay cash at physical shop when you can top up online? Qoo10 $9.50, Shopee $9 with ShopeePay $1 voucher.

I’ve been topping up using that method for Simba and Giga for the past few months, top ups always credited within 24 hrs. I used gadgetbox btw.

I have been using topping up via Shopee for months now (including the National Day offer last year) & also for prepaid cards. I think I f you go with the sellers with numerous reviews, it’s generally safe & I have always gotten the top up confirmation via SMS within minutes, an hour max, as long as it is done within the shop’s operating hours.

Now got new $20/$60 plan called SuperRoam 50GB.

They have also updated the plan names.
MY130 > SuperRoam MY
SuperRoam > SuperRoam Max

The new $20/$60 plan called SuperRoam 50GB are limited to a few regional countries! Not all the 57 countries!

So it seems like they are stopping this pretence that the +50GB in the $10 plan is a promo & just say that it is a 100GB plan. (I noticed that they have also renamed it in the app for existing users to 100GB plan)

The 90D SuperRoam 50GB doesn’t make sense though. There doesn’t seem to be any benefit to pay for 90 days at a time (vs the 30 day plan). It’s still the same amount of local & roaming data.

The SuperRoam Max plan otoh just doesn’t make sense anymore, esp when compared with the SuperRoam 50GB. It’s $5 a month more, & you get 50 more local SMS, but give up 50GB of local data, as well as 40GB of Malaysia roaming…

I imagine there is bound to be an update to these plans over the next few days…

Yup. I also noticed the CIS updated the perks' values. E.g. for the 100GB $10 plan, it was added that 100GB is worth $6, 1GB data roam is $4 (supposedly free).

I can tell you for France it works great and for Germany almost great (sometimes the network connection drops and it takes a few hours and magically reappears but for this year now it is pretty reliable in Germany too.

BTW: I think it wasn't mentioned here before... For SIMBA PREPAID plans you only get the 1GB roaming traffic allowance in your billing cycle and then you are offline with no chance to purchase any more allowance. You will have to wait for your next billing cycle to get more roaming data.
If you are on the SIMBA POSTPAID plan, you can purchase extra roaming allowance as described here in the forum earlier.

It stated under their FAQ but I am not sure if it is also applicable to SIMBA Prepaid or not.

"For excess data beyond the free roaming data allowances, simply recharge your SIMBA Wallet for Pay-Per-Use deduction. We offer the most affordable roaming rates, charged per 10MB block."

How do I apply for roaming?
