simba is best liao. free 1gb overseas data for use with 50+ countries. if exceed about $4 per gb which is cheaper than singtel. can receive sms and make local voice calls when overseas.

No additional charges when receiving sms/ sg calls when overseas? M1 quite cui recently, thinking to port over here

Tried to port in from ZYM to SIMBA.
SIMBA mentioned "port in has failed due to an Equipment Contract from your previous telco."
anyone experience this before?

Hmm suppose to end this month, ZYM told me i can port out this month, as long as i have paid for the final month's bill which was charged early this month.

Do you have an exact date? Need to be after that date then you can port out.

actual end date 30/05/23, below is the reply i get from ZYM previously

"Good Morning sir, as long as you make the May payment you may port out after that. Do not have to wait till your surf the entire month, however we suggest you to stay till the end of May to fully utilize the amount. Just remember to port-out before the end of May."

Hmm... Something got messed up then. Usually have to wait till contract is over then can port out. Dunno why zym says can.

I noticed my simba in Poco F1, past few months always have issue with voice calls in and out. I try using my giga voice call simba , the call will not ring and cutoff immediately. But if I WhatsApp call, no issue. To resolve this, I reboot the phone, often will work. I wonder is it my poco F1 or simba network...

If you have another phone can move the sim there and try. If no issue in the other phone, then it's the F1.

No charges as long as your phone supports VoLTE, not necessary need to use the voice app.

You can port in and out of ANY telco, it’s in IMDA’s mandate.

As long as you can see volte on your phone setting. My phone not listed but I have volte.
Using Poco X3 pro
