if sign up before 31/7, pay $5 per month forever,

or

pay $5 in july and pay $10 per month from august onward?
Based on my understanding, should be $5/MTH forever if you sign up before 31 July. Thereafter, if you sign up on or after 1 Aug, it will be $10/mth

Promotion rate for 1 year at $5 ($10 -$5) for 12 months which end on 2021 July.

From 2021 Aug you will need to pay $10. However, TPG can choose to extend the promotion next year.

if $10 per month, is it better to switch to the $10 50GB plan :s11:

Still TPG is not reachable at places like basements of several buildings and even several other common places. If people using TPG can live with that limitation and or have alternative options, then you can go with it.

Several of us use TPG as secondary sim.

I would not recommend putting it on a mobile used by young children or aged people who may find lost in technology and make them worried unnecessarily.

Yes all the rest of 3 telcos have the same price plan too. No need to sign up TPG one.
i think any seniors will need a reliable network than such high data quota.

That plan is only available for those really needy people, those that don't have money at all one... Including those from ComCare

Most seniors are not eligible.

Not correct.

Tpg is offering flat rate of $5 for ALL seniors.
The other Telco got conditions one, it's only for eligibles seniors. Else the charges are like 25-30% off the market rate for normal plans.

TPG have both Senior Go Digital and Mobile Access for Seniors plans.

Price per month is the same, but Senior Go Digital is for everyone and has no handset subsidies.
Mobile Access for Seniors on other hand, comes with handset subsidies as it's co-pay by the donations made by companies and individuals.

They alr gave users about 18 months of unlimited data (for those that subscribed during first wave, and never change from trial to paid plan or cancel/port out line). Considered good enough?

Yeah, probably that trial coming to 2 years is the free plan for seniors. :s13:

Hi

Anyone signed up for the "Senior Go Digital" $5 plan yet?
If yes, how's the service so far? Thinking of signing up for my mother.

Thanks
