It's the senior plan that is $5/MTH. Comes with 20GB data, unlimited thereafter at 0.5mbps.

unlimited at 0.5Mbps is still reasonable. better than MR. MR 384kbps even to surf the web may have some difficulties.

besides, one eligible senior can only sign one line regardless of telcos for this plan or?
or one person can sign many lines per telco on this plan?
or one person can sign one line per telco on this plan?

Without a contract, this shouldn't happen.

My guess is they're short-handed, what's with the wave of seniors trying to get their new lines.

Looks like delay in them attending to emails of line termination requests...?

I’ve been emailing TPG to terminate my line.
So far, no respond from them. Do anyone encounter similar problem? Beside emailing them, I can’t find any other channel to reach out to them.

Easiest way out now is to port out and cancel the line from the other provider. Example, Giga $10 plan.

I know it's a hassle, but at least you can get to cancel the line, and not try to contact the non-existent CS until you vomit blood.

You can remove your credit card info in the account. Anyway they cannot bill without a contract.

1.Can check if we are able to check tpg usage in our account? MR can.
2. If we have max our calls n data, how does TPG know if we want additional data or calls?
I mean what trigger the additional billing?

1. yes

2. you can't call anymore, you have to top up at higher rate to get additional data or call time.

I've been reading here that they do take quite a while to attend to emails... Will going to one of their counters help?

Worst case, there's always IMDA to approach...?

This.

If you top up the "wallet" in your account, that would trigger them to charge you for whatever you use beyond the basic package... With kosong amount in there, you'd just not be able to continue using once you hit the ceiling.

Some trial lines still yet to be terminated. I think their system not ready for influx of lines and customers.

The other way you can do to "terminate", is to port out and terminate. I did that 2 months back, port out to MyRepublic $10/mth plan, use for a month, then terminate.
