Not sure why I'm not able to switch. It tries to register but keeps saying it's not available. I can see the Telco but just cannot connect. My friend is also having the same exact issue and we both cannot resolve/change carrier even though I'm on Android and friend is on iPhone.
Which is most likely because the said operator's network is unavailable.
Priority is always local before roaming which is similar to what others have experienced while roaming in other countries, i.e Malaysia with slow/unusable speeds.

To be roam ready ensure that your SIMBA SIM is slotted into your mobile device at least 48 hours before departure. This allows your SIM to be updated with the latest parameters. To check if your SIM is roaming ready, SMS <SIMBA> to 1218 if you are in Singapore or DIAL *1218# if you are overseas

Are you a bot? I am already roam ready and was using roaming on this trip for about 5-6 days in 3 different European countries.

It seems to be a SIMBA issue with the Greece telcos here, but of course they'll never admit that.

Nobody will admit it’s their fault. But sometime really is a phone setting issue. Like Becos you turn on hotspot, the telco block, or turn on 5G, telco block. Have to tried and error.

Having issues one week after using SIMBA roaming. Was okay but suddenly cannot use while in the same country (Greece ). Instead of 4G it shows E (for EDGE?). occasionally it shows up as 2G. But data is not able to be used regardless.

I checked APN and there were two for Orange and one for TPG, it was on Orange. not able to change to any other carrier except the problematic one (Cosmote). My friend with me on SIMBA also facing same issue on the same day.

Did all the basic troubleshooting including APN but it's been more than 24 hours still same issue.

Anyone experienced similar and managed to fix? SIMBA cust svc not very helpful so far.
Have you used up your 1GB allocation? Did you top up your SIMBA balance? You have to manually add money since it will not auto deduct even if you have credit card on file for the monthly subscription.

Mine was ported over from M1 prepaid about one year ago. Back then there was no option to port in to postpaid
Thanks. Usually Singtel, M1, Starhub can change prepaid to postpaid but not postpaid to prepaid

I wonder how come there's no hotline to call them one. But only to send contact form from their website

Low cost plan means low cost service. You can head down to the authorize dealer as well with simba staff if you have any inquiries or technical issues with the plan..

Probably the OC site's admin/owner trying to drive traffic to the site. 🤭

Go orchard central level 4 to settle any issues.
The queues may not be too long.
More like want to check out their offers. So usually will do the calls. But they have no hotline to call them.

Orchard central quite far for me.

If you guys facing issues, which mean need to go to their branch and settle? Like no other ways

That's what I do forTPG. I go there to get my simcard and get questions answer. Even if they have a hotline, you may need to hold on phone waiting . One hour gone on phone nothing solve. Orchard Central I went there and queue 10 mins only before someone serve me. It's all up to individual like yourself how you want proceed

So I suppose we cannot select the numbers before going there but to select numbers at there?

Am going to fly off for a short trip to Indonesia soon. Not intending to use data roaming as I have a corporate phone. However need to receive SMS. For my case I do not need to top up to my account balance right? Jus purely receive SMS.

I am on the sim only 100GB plan which includes 1GB data roaming
