If you top up the "wallet" in your account, that would trigger them to charge you for whatever you use beyond the basic package... With kosong amount in there, you'd just not be able to continue using once you hit the ceiling.

Do u mean to say as long we never top up, they will only be charging the default $5 subscription and cut off yr line n data when monthly ceiling is hit?
Then after 30 days we can start using again?

for $5 plan , i.e senior plan, you can continue to use data at 512kbps (unlimited ! ) after you used up 20GB.

for $10 plan , your data will be cut after you used up 50GB.

The $5 plan is only for 60yo and above.
And it's only valid for 12 months and it will return to $10 per month.

Some trial lines still yet to be terminated. I think their system not ready for influx of lines and customers.

The other way you can do to "terminate", is to port out and terminate. I did that 2 months back, port out to MyRepublic $10/mth plan, use for a month, then terminate.

Earlier on their website there used to be an option to switch between CC and GIRO. I used that option to switch to GIRO and then login to the IB and cancel the GIRO. No way they can bill me for that account. I have also sent out an email asking them to cancel this account, and they are yet to respond.

Now I have three SIMs from TPG. One without opting for the new plan, second one opted for the new plan and then cancelled the GIRO, third one opted for the new plan under GIRO, but GIRO not cancelled. So far they have not started deducting from the bank account.

Hmm, that's sounds a better way. If not one can also switch payment method to a prepaid credit card like GrabPay or Singtel Dash.

Just got a SMS from them:
TPG- Dear customer, we were unable to deduct your SIM Only 50GB Plan subscription charge for 8XXXXXXX on your existing payment method which was due on JULY. We wish to inform you that we will be processing the backdated subscription charge of $10. Please update your payment details if there are any changes by logging into My Account. Thank you for your support.

Checked my cc and there was a charge from tpg on 22 July.
And on my tpg acct page the charge is -$10

Seems like their left hand don't know what the right hand is doing

i have the exact same problem as yours.

Just received the sms on the July bill problem, but my account in TPG and credit card are showing it has been charged in July.

Emailed and pm them on it, but i doubt there will be a response.

You are not alone...

I’ve been emailing TPG to terminate my line.
So far, no respond from them. Do anyone encounter similar problem? Beside emailing them, I can’t find any other channel to reach out to them.
go to tpg, orchard central, enter from the front which is orchard road, take lift to 4th floor, take the queue on the right for enquires

The option is still there, it is under Profile. just that you can not delete the Credit card info.

TPG charge me $10x5 times within 12 hours. I have 3 lines.

So far receive only 1 invoice. They can’t even advise the subscription charge is for which period
