Because those are all reselling HK universal roaming sims, lowest of the lowest priority on roaming networks.
I bought the ICC HK cards for data roaming in China. So much more reliable than Simba. Speed also ok.

The best thing for Simba was that I couldn't connect in Japan last year and couldn't connect in China in Sept/Oct.

For my trip last year in Japan, the data roaming on Simba was working when we were in South Korea. And when we landed in Tokyo, it stopped working.

For China in Sept/Oct, the data roaming didn't work. Then it miraculously worked in my Nov/Dec trip. Same phone, same spot/location. So I was using WhatsApp using the Simba data roaming, and texting halfway and then it suddenly stopped working with no service. I didn't even moved from my seat. Didn't even change the settings (cos I was using WhatsApp).

Celcom in Malaysia very spotty... Sometimes data doesn't move at all. But nonetheless, it's 1gb free so can't complain much.

Hi are all Simba plans now 5G? My friend just gotten port over to super roam plan and she is getting 5G.

On Simba website showing the different plans I don't need any indication whether it's 4G or 5G

Just collect simba sim.. Ported my number in. The card, now plugged into phone has no signal yet. Is it normal? They told me when I collect, to wait for 1 working day to activation... So I assume Monday?

Since my current telco still working.

Yes normal, Simba sims have no temporary number.

Similar to what others have mentioned, SIMBA does not offer temporary numbers.

Your SIM card will only be activated once the port-over process is completed. I recall they will send an email once the port-over is finished (though there might be changes in how they notify users).
