Recently I cant receive certain calls from certain companies / govt agencies / M1 using my xiaomi note 8 pro (MIUI 12). This issue is prevalent when TPG just started last year but has gradually becomes better over time. Wondering what is causing the problems

Eh... you said last time prevalent but gradually become better over time.
Are you saying that last time you can receive but now, when it has gradually become better, you cannot receive ?

If you really have problem with landline, I will say good luck to you. You will need to be very specific.

My suggestion is that if you have issue and TPG is not responding, cc to IMDA. Like my landline issue, after I wrote to IMDA, it got rectified. If not, TPG will ask you to try this, try that, send this, send that, etc

Take a look what TPG asked
7. Try another TPG SIM or a non-TPG SIM on the same handset (if available)

i recently started using TOG prepaid. i am on Samsung Galaxy 10.
can I check does anyone use the default caller app? as mine doesn't work, have to use the tpg app.
and there is no ring tone when receiving a call at all! how to turn it on?

Recently someone using landline and M1 mobile can't reach me many times. Im using volte enabled xiaomi note 8 pro. He feedback there's no ring tone too. Wondering how will the app changed this as last time the app is more for calling.

Go into the TPG 4G Voice app, under Settings / Notification, is there a ring tone under "Call Ringtone" ?

Does anyone know if Oppo Reno 3 supports TPG VoLTE? Some of the earlier Reno series models are listed in the official TPG list of supported handsets but not Reno 3 (yet?)

Our TPG mobile connection is from Australia?

Have noticed this quite a few times. When I am using Tunnelbear to connect to Tunnelbear's overseas vpn server, noticed that it shows my TPG connection originates from Australia instead of SG.


Anyone notice this ? I assume this is normal for TPG

2 reason why it showing up as australia.

The ip address used here belongs to tpg australia.

TPG sg have poor routing. I notice a lot traffic was route from singapore to australia than to usa or some country.

During trial I notice some website from singapore go australia than hk than sg.

still not good in the mrt tunnel, except for purple line. other than that still ok.

Outdoor Coverage OK. Indoor will depends if they have network setup. Most popular mall network coverage shouldn't be an issue.

Underground coverage is poor (car park and selected mrt network bo network)

Do take note voice call is supported by selected phone. Else have to use app
