to me, eight and simba same same...tested at least during my usual route to office.....

so see which plan suit you better..
If that's the case, at least in your case.

Simba would be the choice as its overwhole package is more value for money even it is $4 more than 8.

That's right. 7GB is quite a lot for ordinary travel folks.

We usually don't stream video while travelling too.

hi Simba users, can I check whether it is possible to divert calls from other lines to the Simba line so that we can pick up when we're not in SG? anyone tried that before?

yes the simba voice app to setup the diversion.
yesterday I test call forwarding from other telco lines to simba. Not sure if my setup is appropriate: -

-> if you want to use simba voice app to receive calls in overseas, to deactivate volte before you go overseas, i.e. when you are in airport, causeway, ferry terminal, etc. So all diverted calls will go to simba voice app instead of your phone call app

So far this is what I found for telcos allowing call forwarding (be it website or I try out)

-> all MNOs (Singtel, m1, Starhub)
-> m1 Maxx, Changi Mobile, heya

Telcos not allowing call forwarding:

-> eight

If anyone know other telcos allowing / not allowing call forwarding, let us know, thks!

Yes. I diverted my Singtel line when I went in to JB.

did you leave your Singtel line in SG?

I read on another thread that the Singtel line must be on airplane mode or remain connected within SG, i.e. cannot be connected to overseas network on roaming.

sounds quite complicated.

I am using iPhone, so I can simply just "Turn off" my Singtel line before I headed in to JB.

I do activate call forwarding on my Singtel line.
The call forwarding is "Whenever I am out of range" or no network (Similar to phone off).
So, whenever I turn off my singtel line, it will be diverted to my SIMBA line.

When I am back in SG, I turn on my Singtel line, the divert will not work because the line is back active waiting to receive calls.

thanks bro. now I just need to check if Singtel GOMO has so-called call-forwarding or line diverting feature... nobody seems to know.

Okay. Decided to port over my secondary line from the old $14 Maxx back to the new $12 SIMBA today.

It's an obvious choice. :)

As for my 1 week old main line with 8. Let me see how the secondary line is performing on SIMBA first.
