Thank you for the explanation. For phones that can enable/disable VoLTE, usually it is done separately for each sim.
Newer phones may not have that option and enables VoLTE by default.
You will expect VoLTE to be a feature that simply works when available, but apparently it is not uncommon to be specific to telcos. Either the phone needs a profile for the telco or the telco need to allow a certain phone, or both. Given that Simba is relatively new, this might indeed be an issue, esp if you have not received software update for some time.

yes. if you live near kaki bukit , it is the best option, almost no q.Can we just walk-in to Simba service centre to do port-in?
on iOS18, after update from App Store, the Simba app open as 2.4.31. and it prompted to update. when redirected to appstore, it's 2.4.38 with "Open" button, no more "Update". And the display in app seems mixed up.Today there is an My SIMBA update v2. 4.38

Give 1 TB data also useless. Cant use at my home (north east area). Speed less than 0.3 mbps. Dont even need to mention during peak hours transport in train. Totally unusable
Indeed starting today!
Nope. The app shows 5GB only at the moment.so fast roam liao ah
It is because when the then TPG started business here, it straight away operates in 4G network, that was when which phones are compatible is important info. Subscribers can decide whether to use their network via VoLTE or Call app, depending on their 4G devices. Of cos now when 3G is exiting, this list is no longer relevant. But Call App I think is very important now, as SIMBA is the only network operater that is compatible with non-VoLTE 4G devices.Hi may I know why Simba has a compatible phone list and the other MVNO do not? Why is it different for SImba?
And the Simba Voice App doesnt work reliably...as in receiving calls.
