If you can get 50Mbps download and 10mbps upload at home location means very good already.Ok tried and reporting on my experience:
For now, I'll stick to the Simba plan, but will continue to monitor the offers by telcos and see if there's other similar offers.
- Signed up for the $5 300GB data-only plan
- Set up as follows:
- Sim-card is in an old unused Redmi 8 phone - annoyingly, my USB 4G dongle does not support Simba's frequencies (no issues with the other telcos)
- Phone is linked to my Asus router's USB port, with USB tethering enabled
- The initial speedtest which I did at my parents' house in the west got me excited - got ~40 mbps download
- Unfortunately, at my house (central area), the download speed ranged from about 2 mbps during the evening peak hours to 10 mbps in the off-peak hours (around 11pm onwards).
- That said, the speed is still usable for my usage patterns (surf webpages, watch Youtube and Netflix), but definitely Eight is more stable and faster (with a higher price point).
I also thinking to try, is it possible to get the plan for just 1 mth? Thanks.Ok tried and reporting on my experience:

I cannot get Simba at 5G where my router is located. So it operates at 4G only.Ok tried and reporting on my experience:

Port in is auto if you submitted when you sign upHi everyone, need some clarification about porting from Circles to SIMBA:
On the call, the Circles rep mentioned that I might need to call SIMBA customer service to initiate the port-in process on their side. Is that actually necessary, or will everything be handled automatically in the backend?
- I signed up with SIMBA this morning and requested to port in my existing number. I received the eSIM and QR code via email and activated it.
- Circles sent me an email requesting identity verification. After calling them, the verification was successful and I received a confirmation email for the port-out request.
Appreciate any help!
Looks to me like Circles doing extra work.Hi everyone, need some clarification about porting from Circles to SIMBA:
