I've been with Simba aka TPG when they first trial their networks for free back in 2020. They r constantly improving, although there are still many rooms for improvements as the 4th telco here.

without TPG, today we are all carrot heads.

TPG is our saviour honestly
Other MVNOs adjusted their pricing as the GST increased from 7% to 8% and subsequently to 9%. For instance, Zym's price rose from $10 to $10.10, Giga's from $10 to $10.19, and Zero1's from $7 to $7.06.

Hence, without TuaPekGong, now Simba, we still are stuck with 20GB local data. Simba has always been the pioneer in introducing groundbreaking plan changes, such as international roaming, massive local data, free IDD, and now SG-MY data.

I recall Circle.Life was the first to break the traffic light telcos' grip on the mobile data market. From then on, the prices started dropping gradually.

SIMBA was the game changer, CL spearheaded the start of SG's telco disruption.
Too bad CL has relegated to a follower instead of a leader.

Simba usually is fast hand fast leg in slapping the sleepy greedy heads of other telcos.

so their promo also fast hand fast leg.

but their promotion usually is song song gao zoolong and expect to fast hand fast leg grab it while it last

either camp in this thread or follow their fb or they usually also send out sms to subscribers

7gb data only used 800mb for my 5days trip cos most of the time no connection or no mobile network.
Real disappointment for Simba in Vietnam HCM.
Ended up hooking to wifi in restaurants, cafe, hotel… as good as no network.
Hmm I was in HCM and used up nearly 7gb though

Eh wth I just checked, simba deducts $12.10 and now my balance is $7.90 anyhow sia

Indeed. Sign up with both eyes open.

For me, coverage is more important than speed, even at 14.88Mbps for Simba as you have tested, as long as all of my streaming app works, chatting works, can load maps, can pay using payment app, the tested speed is acceptable. I'm staying Simba for sure.

I would probably not sign up with SIMBA if I'd known about its Speed but fortunately I subscribed blindly* & now I'm happy with my usage patterns & its promotions, free upgrades etc

I switched 2 mobiles from Singtel to SIMBA's Seniors since July last year, & I've not regretted.

Every month since I saved total of $30 (from the 2 mobiles subscriptions).

I was with Singtel for over 15 years. Although there were no issues with its coverage, I was fed up with "negotiating" for the lowest monthly subscription every year. Singtel could have just "entrapped" me by fixing the subscription in perpetuity.

I'm looking forward for SIMBA to extend this Seniors Plan.
