Simba plan looks cheaper vs zym. If can work as well, why not. Simba also seem more established

SIMBA has come a long way since the early days when some traffic lights loyalist whined about poor coverage in mrt when inside tunnels. I don't know why it is such a big deal that people are prepared to pay 4 to 5 times more for traffic lights just to not get a poor signal when in a tunnel for what? a minute at the most? And it's not multiple times a day, only when you are in the train going to work or going home right

However, being cheap, SIMBA apparently does not spend enough on customer service, so if you have any problems, there is no hotline to call. You have to write in and it takes ages for someone to respond, and if the reply is not satisfactory, you write back, and it takes another century for someone to get back to you. In short, customer service is very poor compared with say Singtel.

i reckon its all about managing expectations. my wife and kids are on SIMBA after shifting from green camp and i have not looked back since.

I've been with Simba aka TPG when they first trial their networks for free back in 2020. They r constantly improving, although there are still many rooms for improvements as the 4th telco here.

Plus voice calls when overseas, data roaming... Song Song gao jurong. That's why until now, I still support TPG/Simba.

Other MVNOs adjusted their pricing as the GST increased from 7% to 8% and subsequently to 9%. For instance, Zym's price rose from $10 to $10.10, Giga's from $10 to $10.19, and Zero1's from $7 to $7.06.

Hence, without TuaPekGong, now Simba, we still are stuck with 20GB local data. Simba has always been the pioneer in introducing groundbreaking plan changes, such as international roaming, massive local data, free IDD, and now SG-MY data.

7gb data only used 800mb for my 5days trip cos most of the time no connection or no mobile network.
Real disappointment for Simba in Vietnam HCM.
Ended up hooking to wifi in restaurants, cafe, hotel… as good as no network.

Hmm I was in HCM and used up nearly 7gb though
