A friend got his line terminated by Simba after they couldn't charge to his overspent credit card. Seemed by the time he got to their office to check why his line had no network, and then wanting to pay the outstanding, he's told he's already exceeded a certain period so they'd to terminate. Couldn't get the number back.
It will automatically try to top up.
But if you have no CC info and no credit, then it is not really an issue and after some time it should be automatically terminated.
Manually terminating it will help terminating it cleanly.
one time i did not update my expired credit card, but the line is still able to use.. but it get slower and slower.
until one day it stopped.. need to top up to get it back. but 30 days still count from the last bill cycle.
What gregory_choo wrote has some merit though.no need, since you use paynow there is no card to deduct from and they will lapse into basic plan for 21 days with unlimited data and then auto termination. this apply to so called "postpaid" plan as well.
if you terminate early there is no refund. best is to fully utilise all the 300gb and unlimited data after that. all fully stated in the link you posted (at the middle of the pdf)
anyhow say, depend on telco and plan one. you old man use singtel postpaid right, dont know anything dont anyhow write. i curse you singtel confirm bill you lots of extra nonsensical add on charges and overuse and overdue charges i tell you for anyhow saying

Be nice, don’t curse others over such minor mattersno need, since you use paynow there is no card to deduct from and they will lapse into basic plan for 21 days with unlimited data and then auto termination. this apply to so called "postpaid" plan as well.

If there is no recharge on the 26th day, you get daily warning that your line will stop working after 30th day.i like your thinking but will not want to try. as I use my singpass to create account, and bad debts will auto link to bad credit ratings. because of $10 i get bad credit rating is so foolish
This one easy. I will just initiate the termination process 30 days later then.If there is no recharge on the 26th day, you get daily warning that your line will stop working after 30th day.
And on the 31st day, service will be reduced to Basic Plan for 21 days.
No pay, no service, there is no debts involved here.
You don't own them anything if you don't continue to pay, you just simply don't receive any further services.
This is the clause in the CIS :
"Unsuccessful payment for plan renewal will result in a reversion to a Basic Plan which includes only Basic Data Services (192Kbps), incoming calls, and SMS.
This means that you will not be able to enjoy full-speed data, make any outgoing calls, or send SMS. This Basic Plan will continue for 21 days unless the Main
Plan is renewed successfully. Your plan will be terminated for non-payment after this 21 days Basic Plan cycle. All wallet balances will be forfeited."
That said, it might be a good idea to properly terminate the line.
That sets a proper closure and if anything is to happen to that line it is clear that it is non of your concern.
It also frees up your line count, the last thing you want is to find that a terminated line is still counting towards your limit of 10 lines when you are least expecting it.

I am not complaining though, no loss to users. They keep adding until it's no longer a novelty liao
It's really a tough competition! They keep adding until it's no longer a novelty liao
Same here. Frequent visitors to Malaysia should like Simba.Malaysia is the most useful for me.
Yes simba most songz to use in boleh land dah.Same here. Frequent visitors to Malaysia should like Simba.
Everytime u change, u need to pay off using CC and not from wallet. So, meaning u need to pay twice in your case.I'm trying to change my $10 plan to $12 for one month for overseas usage then change back to $10 later.
When I do the change plan online it only allows me to pay via credit card and I cannot choose to pay from wallet credits.
Ok so if I just pay the $12 month immediately , then when I change back to $10, confirm deductions will continue from my wallet?
I guess not. U need to have the full amount or more but not less. In your case, it will solely deduct from CC.For plan renewal, if my wallet balance is below the plan price, will they take the remaining balance before charging credit card?
That's my understanding as well.I guess not. U need to have the full amount or more but not less. In your case, it will solely deduct from CC.
