SIMBA Telecom discussion thread

I sent feedback before but for NEL and told them between which stations and they wanted me to provide postal code??? Like how

Postal code for an underground location?

This is getting rather interesting. If anyone here knows how to do that, please share. Network connection aside, I didn't know our underground tunnels have postal codes.

Just google and post to them
The Serangoon MRT station has two different postal codes depending on which line (North East Line or Circle Line) it's referencing: 534801 (NEL) and 556082 (CCL). Specifically, the NEL portion of the station at 600 Upper Serangoon Road uses 534801, while the CCL portion at 21 Serangoon Central uses 556082.

Simba's roaming partner in Indonesia is telkomsel and smartfren? Anyone has had any trouble whilst roaming? Thanks

Nope. Was in Labuan for a week and worked flawlessly.

In Batam, telekomsel worked flawlessly and I feel like faster than local simba

I noticed overseas SIMBA performance ish sibei songz. But sometimes at home while talking line gets cut off.

cos they tied up with the more established telco oversea......... but in Sgp, I believe their hardware ( receivers or transmitter) can be further improved !

I am now in Taipei and has finally enjoy Simba service after all these mths.........lolx
no necessity to switch over to Eight which I must do when I am in Sgp.

You mean simba no. 1 for you overseas?

I think the 8 ($11.80 plan) is also a great alternatives.

the keypoint.. the oversea roaming partners of Simba or Eight are with local established company.

Just like if a foreigner local telco has tied up with Singtel .. he will have great coverage when he is in Sgp..
but if that local telco has tied up with Simba instead... he will definitely be complaining day and night when he is here.

If this foreigner tags along with me, will have the opposite experience

My last frequent trip was in March. No issue.

Was there last week. Celcom is the preferred network, but can be slow at times. High Ping and latency. If manual select to umobile, very fast speed and low ping low latency. But umobile got some blind spots where you'll have no network sometimes.

Some suggested to switch to 5G to avoid the lag, would it work?
