Actually, as a quick way of trying to resolve connectivity issue, can also toggle the Airplane mode on then off. Solves most of the issues (not all).

At S$199 for a 5G SIM eSIM mSD NFC phone is really not bad. Dimensity 700 is older chipset and 720p resolution is not great but functional.
The same phone is S$167 on Shopee and Lazada right now. You could buy the phone there, top up S$30 in SIMBA credits, and still come out S$2 ahead. (Or use the phone with any carrier.)🤷‍♂️

Any other phone at this price range that support esim?
The Motorola Moto G35 is under S$180 on Shopee right now. It also supports eSIMs and NFC. It has 8GB RAM instead of 6GB (a very big deal — RAM matters a lot at this level), a better screen, and the processor might be a touch better (although neither is a speed demon). The software lifespan is probably similar (short for both). The Moto G35 has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 whereas the Sharp AQUOS wish4 has "glass." However, Sharp advertises an IP68 rating for the wish4, but the Moto G35 is advertised simply as "water-repellent" (no specific rating).

The Sharp has Bluetooth 5.3 while the Motorola has Bluetooth 5.0. The Moto G35 has a better cameras. I don't think the Sharp has a built-in FM radio, but the Motorola does. The Motorola is a bit thinner (by 1 mm), but these phones have the same battery capacities. I think the speakers are a bit better on the Moto G35 (stereo v. mono).

Not necessarily a recommendation; I'm just responding to the question you asked.

Motorola phones may not have local warranty. Do take note, buying directly from Simba is warranted and any problem can go back to them, the phone setting and ROM is also compatible to Simba network setting which may not be the case for other sellers.

Check the seller for warranty details, yes.

SIMBA repairs phones?

What do you have in mind here? Obviously lots of phones work fine on SIMBA's network. The vast majority of SIMBA customers haven't purchased their phones from SIMBA.

But since you mention compatibility, let's talk about frequency band support. It looks like the Motorola Moto G35 supports the following 5G bands that the Sharp AQUOS wish4 doesn't support: n20, n26, n77. For 4G LTE it looks like these bands are on the Moto G35 but not on the wish4: 2, 20, 26, 32, and 42. I can't be 100% sure of that since these phones could vary a bit depending on region, but that's what it looks like. A lot of SIMBA customers roam internationally, and the support for more 4G LTE and 5G bands is helpful in that respect.

Wow, just an opinion of mine, to each his own. Simba of cos does not repair phone but it definitely endorsed phones that are locally warranted. I am surprised Motorola phones has local warranty or is it shop own warranty?

This is important, at the very least we know it is compatible with Simba. Also Motorola is not committed to more than one OS update for the G35 model. This is very disappointing.

iPhone 14 with iOS 18.5 now... The auto setting starts working few versions back, partly... :ROFLMAO:
My latest is only 13PM with the same iOS. Still has 4 APN options there.

I normally set Simba APN manually, upon SIM activation.

Err... 4 APN options are there... Just that auto only populate APN for "Mobile Data", the rest are empty...

Ah, turn off Use Network Provider Settings, then type TPG. I do both for APN and Username, for all options.

Then restart phone.

iOS can... Just that the APN for "Personal Hotspot" is missing...
One effective solution to resolve the iPhone hotspot not showing up issue is to disable Low Data Mode on your iPhone. When this feature is enabled, your iPhone restricts data usage to conserve cellular data, which can inadvertently prevent the hotspot feature from functioning properly
