Typically port in take how long to process? Meanwhile how to log in to check?

Varies. I submitted Thursday afternoon, same night started porting already.
Weekends, Mondays & Public Holiday tend to be slower.

My wife port in last Sunday, and Simba account activated two days later

Mean its just a numbers game for show?

If roaming data get throttled to 5mpbs, then >500gb data allocated for local/roaming data with selected countries can only be used up for local data. Definitely a very misleading ads now.

On the other hand, 5mbps is still not that bad which can run 720p YouTube video, but Simba is definitely playing monkey tricks now.

How come the figures looked so funny one? Is the huge data and talk time due to rollover of unused data and talk time from previous month?

Cause my mum port in reg last sat. Now monday, still cannot.

i rather SIMBA not do this rollover + speedcap sh1t
and let us utilise our deserved monthly roaming data at full speed.

why wanna compete with Singtel hi - they are just a sub brand with different target segment.

Day 2 in Malaysia. Roaming speed is reset. I can use full 5G speed again. Probably 2Gb later may be capped. Will monitor.

if really got FUP and speed throttling, how many GB they give is become something restrictive.

the rest of MVNOs have no restriction on how you use the monthly roaming data quota.
with both lion city and bolehland monthly usage, i can use easily more than 100GB per month of local data (shared in bolehland with no speed cap also). so no need to buy any data in bolehland under bolehland no.

Local usage should not have limit lah… imagine watching YouTube on the train and get throttled. SIMBA is not so stupid to commit hara hiri lah. Nobody has complained here. Dun listen to fake news.

the discussion is never about local usage. read the posts and discussions carefully.

I was referring to roaming data in bolehland (which it utilises local data quota) and not local usage in lion city.

and for some who are silly to feel that 2GB or 2.5GB per day is a lot, but one just watch a youtube video for 1 hour can pretty much use up that.

Most of the time Simba speed is less then 10Mbps already.

It's an entitlement as we pay for it when subscribing. Simba should clearly state any FUP or bandwidth restriction in the tnc which they have not.

If you alrdy have 10 lines, porting to simba, simba won't let you port.
