Any idea what happen if I burst the 50gb before 30days? Emailed them no reply. WHat i from the critical summary is if one need to topup $ to use the extra data? If dpn;t topup will they still charge extra or just throttle it?
My email took 6 weeks to come back.........

My email to them was replied within a business week.

They don't have IDD/premium service barring option for user ownself activation.

Anybody have data disconnect when opening some apps? I'm using xiaomi phone and the data often disconnect when opening certain apps (carousell, sometime wechat). It happen intermittenly, after quit the apps and enter again is fine.

Anyone has the same issue, tpg did not reset my call time but only for data.

Billed me in my CC but did not offer any receipt. Nothing can be check in the Portal.

To protect you from next month deduction, switch to GIRO billing and then login to your bank through internet banking and cancel the GIRO against TPG.

That way you stop them on their tracks in the future.

Also lodge a complaint with IMDA.

have the same issues but only for that short period and after that nothing happen to it....but i think might be they reset my connection?

Can teach me how to cancel Giro from the ibanking app please.... I am using POSB .... cannot find Giro cancellation in the banking app... same for UOB ibanking.

Those Western articles will of course paint a good picture of Ericsson or Nokia. Commonsense taught us that with economic of scale, costs will be down significantly.

China already got around 200K 5G base stations in use. They going to have 600K 5G base stations by year end.The gap with those western powers will become even more wider by next year as COVID-19 mismanagement in USA, UK etc causing delayed in 5G development. Huawei 5G is a proven working model, stress tests with China large user base. But SG selected an expensive, outdated and experimental models. Very obvious that this is to sacrifice consumers benefits to protect USA Trump Interests.

Sad, because some older gen SG leader(s) will definitely won't be as spineless to the West in foreign affairs.

Carousell cannot use.

Yes, I have the same problem on my xiaomi note 4 phone/TPG in May, carousell would disconnect very often, chrome web pages would need to reload also.

After switching to M1 prepaid in June, no such problem anymore.

The option is not found on the mobile app. But if you login via Internet banking you can follow the following menu path to delete the GIRO.

Pay -> More Payment Services -> Manage Payments & GIRO -> Delete GIRO Arrangement

You will find the TPG listed as "TPG Telecom Pte Ltd" and if there are multiple entries with different "Bill Reference" reference, you can compare those references against your account in TPG under Profile -> Payment Details page and delete the appropriate one. This is applicable if you had multiple SIM's.

Cannot complain much since it is free service, i thought the problem is with my phone. I just use tpg as secondary sim for my data usage.

For outdoor, feel that tpg is more responsive than m1 or giga.

Already opt out of the free trial, but just tried the sim and it still works. Odd. When they going to stop.

TPG is only a "real" option next year...

Not only these. It would become a real option when it has App based facility,
customer grievance address through phone/chat, multiple reach points than what it currently has, a good billing system, prompt response etc.

Infra is just a start. They are yet to resolve my query for more than a 1.5 months now. How can we rely on such a service provider?

I will not move my primary phone # to them with so many draw backs. But I am ok to use TPG as secondary data sim provider until then.

Ya. Dealing with them is really a nightmare. Zero Support. Portals looked worse than Primary School design. They can't even handle 50k customers, how to handle millions? Singapore got more than 9 millions mobile lines in 2020.

I won't be surprised they make fail one day and buy over by singtel or starhub.
Is singtel and starhub backup by government glc?

If payment failed, it will be cancelled automatically within 30 days. TPG will try to deduct everyday, just make sure these 30 days the card doesn't have any balance for TPG to deduct.

They must be busy trying to demerge from parent company... that's why haven't cancel all the trial lines. The real losers here are those that opt to continue and pay $10 a month.
