After paying $10 now like everyday they’re attempting to deduct more money. 3 days straight trying charge money, luckily it’s on virtual CC.

For those on normal CC better check your transaction, TPG might be happily charging your CC daily.

Any penalty if cancel (port up) TPG line

After reading so many of TPG's billing problems, I too receive a SMS telling me that they were unable to deduct your SIM Only 50GB Plan subscription charge etc etc.

They have actually billed my card somewhere in mid July.

If I were to port out now, what is the penalty that TPG will charge me since I've only signed on to their 50GB plan 2 months ago?

Somehow I've seen it mentioned in some forum but unable to locate that info again.

anyone know is it possible to change TPG mobile number?

It was assign a random number when signup the trial.
now, I want to use as a permanent backup phone number, so wanted an easy to remember number

any ideas?

Same here. Keep charging but receive one invoice only. But with$20 credit. But in the same account mention no credit in another section of the website. Also receive sms said failed deduction. Dunno what they are doing

Have feedback to IMDA n they have ask for more info. I gonna forward everything to them

I receive email say that they have charged $10 under this particular invoice number. But I log in to my account. Can only see one earlier invoice. You can log in to view.

Do you all have a problem calling banks or numbers using 1800 or numbers that need to input like nric or options using TPG phone APP?

I use the APP like some can some cannot... really sucks man!

i ported out a few days ago after porting into their 50gb plan for a few months. No charges. the only problem is the excess deductions they made to my cc and other stupid issues over the past 4 months. i just suck it up

The app is crap. best is to buy a phone on their list. their spectrum limited to certain frequencies nia. i suspiak if you phone don have those frequencies, you cannot use volte.

not true, if your phone don't have those freq, you can't use data, not to mention volte. i.e nothing at all.

My fone could use data but not volte even with the crap app that was misrepresented as a cure all. so my phone definitely has the data freq. i know you will say volte runs on data. but at which freq? that is the qn

tpg run on band 8 and band 40.

don't ask me what is band8/40, you go find out yourself.

the problem is because you have a crap phone, so need to run crap app.

No. A flagship phone ain't crap although it may be obsolete. You also changed the subject in question - that if my phone "don't have those freq", it cant use data, which, is patently wrong.

Basically, the phone may not have both bands but maybe volte uses one specific band that the phone does not have?
If it does, installing the app will not make it any more useful. Therefore the app is crap and a misrepresentation by the company that installing it will cure all voice issues.

I notice that TPG don't have peering with Singtel and Starhub.

When I connect to my office VPN or SIP server the traffic is route from Singapore to USA or HK then back to SG.

All my 4G phones dated 2018 and older cannot get voice or volte tpg.

So only way last year 2019 i upgraded to new OPPO reno and finally I get the Volte Tpg.
