Thanks, make more sense to me to switch over to TPG if I’m travelling a lot.Incoming SMS is free by default for any (local) operators including on roaming.

In that case, I think you should consider using the SIMBA SuperRoam then. Excess charges for Group A destinations is at $4/GB, but getting the extra 9GB is only at $15/month.Thanks, make more sense to me to switch over to TPG if I’m travelling a lot.
Are you able to connect to AT&T? T-Mobile and AT&T are the preferred partners there.Currently in USA, roaming on TPG is not working well at all, despite me setting the correct APN long before flying.
Managed to get onto T-mobile for a few hours at first, but now for the last few days my S20 has been on "No Service", and the sim card keeps reseting itself and auto changing APN from TPG to "Orange World" and back to TPG every 5 minutes. But still no connection, instead draining my battery very quickly because of this. Quite disappointed.
Anyone else have issues with roaming?
Not possible. TPG SIMBA follows a 30 day bill cycle, not fixed billing date.sorry, can anyone advise when i should apply for tpg port in and collect the sim card so that i will be charge on the 1st of every month ?
Cannot, got to port to postpaid then can port into TPGAm i correct singtel prepaid cannot port to TPG Senior plan?
Ya I see FAQ prepaid to postpaid tpg only for specific plan.Cannot, got to port to postpaid then can port into TPG
Yes, finally managed to get it by manually selecting AT&T, for some reason manually selecting T-mobile constantly fails. Are you able to connect to AT&T? T-Mobile and AT&T are the preferred partners there.
Orange World / Orange France is required for Roaming in many countries on TPG SIMBA plan.
Given the fact that M1 Data Passport is at least $12/mth (and now US Data Passport isn’t in that tier?) excluding the activation charge, even if it’s not ideal, you need at least 3GB extra to cover up the price gap.Yes, finally managed to get it by manually selecting AT&T, for some reason manually selecting T-mobile constantly fails.
However, between having to manually select Orange World APN and manually select AT&T, the experience is unfortunately much less ideal than my previous experience with M1 Data Passport.
That said, $10 is pretty much unbeatable for the free roaming

Perhaps you should check out the prepaid plans available in the US; it might work out cheaper to get the $10 plan + US prepaid card, compared to $25 every month.Hi can check which state or town are you at? I am considering to port from M1 to TPG for usage in US as well but afraid that the coverage will not be good.
With the recent SIMBA superroam plan, it seems quite good if we can received SMS for our OTP overseas and can have 10gb data roaming per month as well.
But if network is bad. Then might be better off to port to a cheaper plan and get another sim from mobile provider there.

Do note that with TPG, there is no way to change plans without porting out & in again, so it's not like you could use the $10 plan, change to superroam during the months you travel, then change back to $10 during the months you don't.
TPG 4G Voice App does not work in Orange France roaming mode, which includes the USA if I'm not wrong. Also considered this as one of the options.
But I also check the US plan isn't cheap as well. Can be 25usd with 8 gb of data or 50usd with unlimited data.
So with the superroam plan of $25, it might be better? Since got IDD call in US and can receive smses for OTP purpose etc. But if the network etc is not reliable for TPG there, then might consider the $10 option to hold the line and subscribe another in US
