I was in BKK recently and the data roaming doesn't work (think my plan comes with 1 free GB roaming data). I could data roam when I was in JB previously. Wonder what could the cause be?

Did you select the network providers in Bangkok manually, listed in the SIMBA's roaming guide?

I'm newbie too, last week!

Don't have to wait for 2 days for porting.

You shall get an SMS at about 1140pm tonight telling you that your Changi number is ported in to SIMBA from Changi successfully.

In case you don't get the SMS at 1140pm. Then, the SMS will come in at 4am.

It's either at 1140pm or 4am depending on the porting schedule for your number.

wow liao.. u very accurate.. 11.40pm my changi mobile no more service liao haha.. so same as u 11.40pm no service. But I think need to wait until 12-1am then got signal.. now still no service from simba

Haha! Guess your porting schedule is at a later time batch then.

If by 1am, you don't get the network. Then, it will be at 4am for sure.

I think it has been ported in now as my Singtel SIM card can only dial emergency calls.

WTH never expect they ported in at this timing. Before I went for work the signal is still Singtel. Luckily my company got wifi otherwise really gg liao.

I don’t think I did. I didn’t do anything extra when I autoroamed in JB. I thought the network selection would be automatic.

I just moved my parents' plans to Simba. I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way to set credit card except for topping up. So I have to top up every month?

Go to simba online website and create account and log in with ur mobile number as userid
Click on "Profile" on the left
Then u can edit ur payment method and add in pay by credit card and key in ur credit card info

Anyone know whether they will ever push carrier profiles to iPhones? If not, iPhone users will never be able to use 5G on their network. Is there any progress on carrier profiles?

Ehhh I thought your cc details are automatically added to the system during sign-up?

Well at least that’s the case for my sign-up.

Try to select it manually the next time if auto doesn't work!

To select or not to select manually is very much depends on phone types or "don't know what"!

I did manual network selection, "Auto" doesn't work well while I was roaming in Indonesia.
If you have trouble locking into the network, try restart your phone.
